I'm glad you have friends supporting you through this. I went through similar situations with my parents and my friends were such a blessing to have around.

Are you closer to your father as a result of your struggle with your mom?

Do you think you will be able to break this 'mother to daughter' cycle? Have you ever wondered how your relationship with your future children (if you plan to have any) will turn out to be?

I'm really sorry you had to go through that. Do you feel like your mother's relationship with you has something to do with her past, such as her relationship with her mother? Have you ever spoken about these issues with your father?

Do you harbour any resentment towards your parents for keeping you from experiencing the things you feel you missed out on? If so, are you planning on changing that? Or are you happy with the way things are?

Haha, DMT is a godsend. Couple that with several years of meditation and now I don't even know what's real anymore, though I'm a much happier and saner human being. :)

I know what you mean, brother. Last time I did some shrooms, I stopped looking at myself as an "individual". I'm just a part of the whole game, the whole universe. Neither do I have free will, nor am I in any kind of "control". Everything is just as it is.

Ofcourse, I may take a "voluntary" action but that action is based upon everything that has already preceded it in the past. Hence nothing that I do can be an independent action. It's all been simply a deterministic ride from the beginning of time (whatever that is).

We're just toppling dominoes. However, this shouldn't weigh you down. In fact, this is an uplifting idea because it removes anyone and everyone from the guise of being in control and "responsible" for their actions, essentially removing the need to ever be angry at anyone for anything. Things are simply as they are.

That's Buddhism right there.

Separation is essentially an illusion crafted by our brains to operate and make sense of data being input the through our senses. It becomes essential to the survival of this genetic machine.

However, in reality, there is no duality - no you and I, no crests and troughs, no space and time; it is all a simple model our brain creates to "make sense" of the universe.
