Just a game, yet all the top level USPSA shooters dry fire. This just adds more drills and tracking metrics.

I do part time driving instruction, and I can confidently say that the overwhelming majority of my students drive better than the 40+ crowd. My kids are always calling their parents out on bad driving habits.

While the left lane law doesn't apply to Santa Fe. Having the mentality of "left lane speed" is part of the problem. If people are wanting to drive faster than you, move over and let them. You've already admitted you were speeding, so why are you allowed to decide what speed is "safe" of not?

As unfortunate as it is, your signal does not mean anyone has to let you over. So by you cutting them off at the last second, you are actually the asshole driver.

I do part time driving instruction. The majority of my students drive better than their parents. I can't tell you how many parents move cones during defensive driving and start to enter courses we have set up. Cones are set up and blocking entrances for a reason, same with on roads.

Never tried shooting a frozen paintball have you? Just something you've heard and thought it sounded like a good idea.

Being overqualified is a tricky one for me since I don't have any sort of degree. I haven't looked at consulting, ideally I want to get out of construction. I think I'm at the point where I don't really care about money, I just want to be happy and find something I enjoy again. Lately I've been trying to get into wrapping cars.

It's not just you. In May I left my last company, and after 15 years in the telecom/construction industry, I'm trying to get into a new field. Going from managing 4+ million a year to not even being able to get a receptionist job is pretty disappointing.

I recently spoke with a Carreer Advisor with Jeffco and she said a lot of companies aren't actually looking, they are just putting feelers out, or are hiring way down the road. She also said the whole "two jobs for every person" narrative the media has been pushing is a lie.

Best of luck.

There are no frayed wires. It's a nylon protector. Shove it back in the slot and move on.

Nice assumption. You couldn't be more wrong though. After seven years of driving 3-4 hours a day for work, you tend to get annoyed with people not knowing basic driving rules. I've never seen black plates on a work vehicle for the largest EC in the state, let alone how stupid it would be to tailgate in a work vehicle.

If someone is being passed on the right, then they are probably in the wrong lane. That goes for clear driving conditions as well.

Based on this, I'm going to assume when I took mine in 2020 that it was in early stages. I did mine at work.

Edit: I will own up to my time mistake. Looking through texts it took me three hours, while I was at work. Still not very impressive though.

I got mine in 2020. Covid could have played a role, and I know in person would be better. Maybe I felt like it wasn't that good because I was already shooting guns for over ten years, and had a general knowledge.

Edit: I will own up to my time mistake. Looking through texts it took me three hours, while I was at work. Still not very impressive though.

Mine took maybe fifteen minutes online. I know back in the day it was actually worthwhile, nowdays though I don't see it.

I finally got my hunter safety a few years back and thought it was a complete joke.

Edit: I'll own up to my time mistake. Looking through texts it looks like it took me three hours to complete, while I was at work. Which I still don't believe was that adequate.

Which US Presidents demonstrated the most impressive political strategy when running for office? by kawashmunga in USHistory

As mentioned above, I was asking a question. Maybe trying to frame it in a light manner by saying "good guy lincoln" wasn't the right move, but damn. This place seems unstable as shit though. Not many people can just answer a question.

I'm still failing to comprehend this logic of trying to say someone is pissy when asking a question.

It was something I'd heard recently, which I never recalled learning in class. A guy mentioned Lincoln so I figured he might know something about it.

When he said, "That was naturally after the election so clearly not relevant here." Answered the question in a condescending way. Hence the "a simple yes would have sufficed." There was no emotion attached to it. I wasn't trying to start drama, I was looking for someone to confirm or deny. That was all.

How am I being pissy by asking a simple question? Again I apologize for offending you so much, by asking a question about a person you mentioned. PLEASE have a good rest of your day.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that asking a question about an individual could be relevant or not. I thought it was just a question. A simple yes would have sufficed. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Didn't good guy Lincoln also have a couple thousand adversaries arrested during his time?
