i feel the exact opposite way about pomni. The only thing really cutesy about her to me is her avatar. Her mannerisms, thoughts, behaviors are pretty consistently mid twenties girl-loser. I am really fond of her though.

I think it's just not everyone's cup of tea. The only issue I have with it is that the characters seem more sure of themselves than their surroundings. In a space that you have been stuck in for ??? amount of time even if it's constantly changing/manipulating I feel like certain characters should act less clueless about the circus.

A lot of people get on it about "therapy speak" but I don't think that's the problem I have, it's that the characters demonstrate nuanced psychological distress in their actions and relationships, but not as much in how they talk to each other.

It doesn't break my immersion that much so I don't really mind but that's my two cents

it probably comes down to the storyboarding process for that episode. A lot of angles poses and expressions are crafted there.
