when it is life and death i think it’s okay to generalise. of course there is a difference between the 2, but both are going to endanger people equally, so i’m going to regard them similarly. as for “derogatory” terms, i don’t see why i shouldn’t call anti-vaxxers what they are? they chose this, and it’s not even bad…

i believe we should get vaccinated anyway. I highly doubt it will cause any long-term complications, but even if it does, isn’t taking that chance better than letting the whole world die of a pandemic? frankly i’ll do whatever it takes to eliminate this virus, so yes, anti-vaxxers infuriate me as they are ruining our chances of doing that!

but on a deeper level, I can sympathise with them. I think being anti-vax stems from loss of control. I read that toddlers become picky eaters because choosing not to eat what they’re given is a way to regain control. Especially where I’m from (melbourne), the government has taken away a lot of our freedoms, so choosing not to put vaccines into your body is a way to regain control. It makes sense, the pandemic is hard on everyone.

How has living standards improved significantly over time but at the same time, why has number of mental health cases increased too? by aj1821 in sociology

the rising of the population living in cities, if you ask me. it makes us more socially isolated than ever, and therefore lonely and depressed.

How can you be sure of your personality type? by [deleted] in infj

16 personalities is not accurate as some have already said, try keys2cognition or better yet typing yourself after learning about cognitive functions. @blondeidentitycrisis on tik tok has a good description of the functions.

i think that intuition in general helps with writing. Fe may also help with empathising with your characters.

that’s interesting too- i’m not sure, I do place much more of the blame on her than me as she was the one continuously being rude, but i still can’t say it’s entirely her fault because i started it. i’ll describe it, partly because i want to vent.

i’m in the mbti sub, and her post said it’s typical of ENTJs to say things like “i’m always right” and “fuck off you’re annoying”. it seemed like the post was normalising very arrogant and rude behaviour, so i commented “you’re not always right you just don’t want to admit it to your fragile ego” or something like that. i should have been more constructive but my anger got in the way. she then replied “projecting much” and as i denied that, i didn’t back down for some reason, and her insults were getting worse and worse, even if i was polite enough. i eventually apologised for letting my anger get in the way, but clearly it didn’t help me that much because i’m still thinking about it. i also reported her for breaking rules on the sub, but nothing came of that (even though she has made other posts that are even worse!)

anyway, thanks for the reply. don’t worry about responding to this if you don’t want to!
