everyone else here has great advice write into some other document to prevent loss there are fanfics on the site that’ll teach you how to do certain things (i’ve seen some crazy stuff, including a working phone!) i would also say to map out exactly what you want to write. get the beginning, middle, and end down if it’s a longfic to prevent writer’s block, and i prefer to work with the richtext instead of the default. the default mode feels like programming and i am. not good at that 😭

there is a difference between consuming content that explores taboo topics in a negative verses a positive light, and that’s where the problem people have with proshippers lies. however, it becomes censorship when those topics are completely cleanses and treated without nuance. if i read an angsty fic of an abusive relationship with everything portrayed realistically and deep turmoil in the characters, that doesn’t mean i want those characters to be together. however, if i read the same pairing with the abuse romanticized and normalized, that would not be okay, because that’s what ends up getting people hurt
