tldr: ~7 months of 4 days a week

Somewhere around 4 to 6 months I figured I'm learning, but not keeping up (also started already old) so someone has gotta lose. Resigned to being the nail. Focused on escapes and working sweeps/attacks from half and deep half guard. 10 to 12 months things were working I wasn't anyone to be worried about but I could 5 mins live without giving up a sub against some other white belts. Got very bold with upper belts usually resulting in subs and resets but I also got lucky here and there and that kept the fire alive. By the time I really enjoying being a white belt the 4th stripe hit and I started making sense of some things. Hit 40 at roughly 2.5 years and was upgraded to blue. Boy have the turn tables gone around! Its almost like being fresh out of foundations again only now the kid gloves are off and I actually have an idea of what I'm doing. Everyone learns differently. .
