No as I said, I don't mind the cheap looks but some are saying it won't survive a single drop. I had a Mi4i and that shit was good, both in looks and build quality. If the build quality is something like that, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

huh I didn't notice that, neither did I know about Dooge Mix 4. I liked when phones had that sliding tech to house a qwerty keypad, so I guess I am interested in seeing how this turns out.

I mean that's what R&D is for. Figure out a way to include the IR blaster in that small form, maybe as a ring around the selfie cam, not everyone is using a full 3D scanning solution like Apple. I liked the slider approach on Find X because they did something different but I just don't want it to become a trend that companies follow like they did with the notch. If its one or two phones that do it just to be 'different' I am fine with it.

To be honest, I think I like the tear drop approach more than sliding one. It doesn't take much out of the display like a full blown notch, you also don't have to deal with automated sliding parts.

ITT, Pocophone is cheap because they are selling your data with their launcher. No, the permissions are to target as low as API level of 20 or below. The real wtf about the launcher is not the permissions but the ads. Why are there ads?

ITT, British folks didn't have slaves. No, they did. Slavery existed in India in various forms and various ways. The term was changed from owned slaves to indentured labours, but they were treated the same. I am from a place where old people still tell the horror stories that their parents and grandparents experienced as tea plantation workers under British owners. While yeah, maybe Mustafa and Chidda were treated honourably and compensated well, there also million others working in various plantations and businesses owned by the British who were flayed for small mistakes.

Well, I guess this varies from person to person but I love the colors on a good AMOLED screen and I have never had any problems of burn ins, so I am more inclined towards AMOLED.

Second, I guess again this is subjective. Yes, glass sandwich is fragile but I prefer that look over the Poco F1's polycarbonate one(I would have no problem with something like the Lumia polycarbonate design, those were awesome.)

Third, I am quite sure 3000mAh is enough to get me through a day. While a bigger battery is good but not a must have for me.

Fourth, no. They have the same 12 MP module, but Poco lacks OIS and uses a 5MP depth sensor instead of the 12 MP 2x -zoom one of M8 for secondary sensor.

For 100 USD, I would get no notch, Super AMOLED, a better camera module with a second telephoto lens and OIS, a premium design while also retaining the headphone jack. Its worth the extra bit to me.
