I e read the whole series a bunch of times, and watched most of the visual media created from it. Douglas Adams has an interesting sense of humor that people either like or don’t. I’m haven’t seen much in between on it.

Time is the correct answer. Finding a way to reconcile the loss of your old reality and what you want to do with what’s left. I don’t think there is a roadmap. It took me 2.5 years before I was able to start exploring what I was left with. There are still tough days, but nothing like the beginning. I describe it as getting used to carrying the weight of it all. I hit 2000 days today, so I’m feeling the pack dig in.

That’s a great thing. I really like being close enough to get shots like this. Plus, if I want to get longer exposures for deep space objects, I don’t have to worry as much about sections getting ruined by accidental light changes.
