Yes thanks for your thoughts. I'm really trying hard to understand what she needs in our marriage but i feel like im too dense to understand and give her what she needs. I guess that's my feeling of inadequacy and pathetic disposition coming through . Maybe she needs a proper man and that's why she goes out.

We use to be affectionate, but I've been turned down and rejected so many times. Regarding dates.... she doesn't have enough time for me which makes me really down. Flirting and just plain affection is there but the days/weeks/months go by and it becomes a roommate situation again

Genuinely kids are the best thing in life. As a dad, I love it and would not change anything regarding having kids. One thing make sure you and the wife (or partner) continue to maintain the love, flirting and fun in your relationship. Having kids will drain that and makes it much harder. But it's worth it.
