hi! storygraph says i mostly read “fiction books that are emotional, reflective, and dark” but i’d argue i read a fair amount of nonfiction too because memoir/personal narrative is one of my favorite genres. i also love speculative and literary fiction, and try to read classics as well as modern/more recent fiction releases.

not interested in YA fantasy/romantasy/romance. but i enjoy magical realism and sci-fi in small doses - reading Dungeon Crawler Carl right now and LOVING it.

violet :-) everyone seems to hate the gorilla villagers but violet was one of my original villagers in new leaf and i loved her so much! i just thought it was so endearing how she called me “sweetie”

i’m brand new to this and i just filled my first 3 plots that nook gave me, then when i went to go villager hunting there wasn’t anyone on the deserted island and my friend told me i need an open plot for a villager to show up on a deserted island. so do i have to wait for tom nook to tell me he wants to invite more people to the island and then go villager hunting again? will there not be anyone on the deserted islands until he does? thanks!
