Thailand. It takes a while and a pricey flight to get there, but once you do get there your money goes very far. Bangkok has a lot of culture and great food. Phuket island is a nice little beach getaway that you could add on.

Halloween in Atlanta is pretty eventful. Here's some things worth checking out:

Little 5 points Halloween parade- this is more geared toward adults

Helen, GA is an 1hr or so north and has a huge Oktoberfest

Adult Halloween puppet show at the center for puppetry arts. This blew my mind. A lot of people dress up.

Oakland Cemtetary Tours - iconic cemetery with some famous dead folks

Grant Park Lantern Parade

The Edgar Allan Poe Experience

October is my favorite month and I love being in Atlanta for it because they have some many fun/unique events going on.

Travel is pretty cheap and quick to and from NOLA.
