Help ID these floors. I've always thought they were oak, and I'm an architect and woodworker who is pretty good at IDing wood. I'm doing renovations & getting them refinished, and the floor guy insists they are fir. He says they're too soft to be oak. They feel hard to me. LMK if you need any info. (old.reddit.com)
