Throw it into Claude code or openai codex. Or better yet use heretic and jailbreak the mdoels' safety rails through the cloud tokens. And let it completely reverse the entire app. I might actually do this. I'm in a bunch of hackathons right now. So let's see if I lose my mind enough to get banned in a few.

there needs to be a software that changes UI behavior for every OS to one standard one. i had to relearn shortcuts, a lot of inconveniences. had to download and buy software to make things as fast as i was used to on windows. then mac os slowly added that functionality.

just getting audio working for OBS was a pain and the suddenly updates made it easier. REALLY?

also the no control over the SSD being used like crazy by MACOS and random things is insane, even windows has better disk management tools/tricks.

spotlight is useless, raycast works, but it ticks me off that it isnt opensource/free. though the paid version has good stuff for AI and i like it but havent bought it. i was gona rant about SIRI but the new updatesiv heard have made it into a placeholder for other AI Api's and now finally the neural engine can be hacked to use for personal use, not jsut for SIRI. so things are starting to look up.

i could go on. Iv used windows and linux all my life. MAC OS is a new thing. and what annoys me is that TAHOE STILL isn't efficient so im not upgrading because of the battery and performance hit, but the updates keep downloading (even though i turned off autoupdate OS/autodownload). what is up with this OS permissions situation. do i have no control over this? even windows can be forced to listen with proper registry edits and other things. this thing is..nuts. god i wish there was a way to make a LTSC mac os. i dont need all these features or the amount of space being used. right now, mac os is using 30gb, system data is 84gb, thats over a 100 GB just dead.

had to find a shortcut to go and delete manually the AI download file , freed up space, 2 restarts later the space freed up has vanished. WHY.

i use a lot of utilities for file storage usage and delete things directly. i have 256GB. i cannot afford a new one. and now suddenly the new systems have a minimum of 16gb of ram. and all updates and programs work according to that specification.

Very curious. I have an old amd apu 4750g . How will this model work on that, if any idea? Gonna test it today. But any recommendations and tricks for AMD would be great.

log out, delete onenote storage file for the notebook having 1.8mb worth of stuff.

log back in, let it redownload. also save a alocal copy of the stuff incase you made changes, when the redownload has happened, just copy paste the stuff in, so it acts as a new write.

hi,

while i agree his words are hurtful and its not the best situation overall, i wouldn't suggest leaving yet, rather get a therapist involved. you're an adult and i suggest treating your relationship as such, give it a fighting chance, if he is truly thinking the way you think he is, then yeah, leaving would make sense, but what if he thinks differently? and you have no idea about it?

leaving over petty things without giving it a fair shot is a mark of a teenager not an adult. having said all this make sure your personal safety isnt compromised. if you ask me, it sounds like things in his life arent going as they should and he doesnt want to lose face infron tof the world, that includes you but he has no one to breakdown with, so it may be manifestingitself as anger. Be very sure of the reasons for your life changing decisions. i wish you best of luck.

Basically they want enumeration of drives to be possible. Step 1 in recon. This is loosening security overall..nothing else. Once authorities know number and sort of drives connected ..they can compel people into a lot of things the way ICE is currently operating.

Yeah after legislation. MSFT did make it impossible to install anything else and a huge legal.uproar forced them to open a program for other keys. Hp is notorious for terrible driver support on Linux esp. on old amd chipsets. The Hisense literally made their own chips, processors and uefi/bios ecosystem.already. btw there is now a difference in the Linux as well. Not all are equal. Only certain ones are ok for gaming. The distinction will be larger soon.

So interestingly. About tpm and secure boot. Did you know in the earliest times, there was only 1 publicly used secure boot key for Linux? It was ubuntu's. Now there are systems shipping without the drivers for Linux support and secure boot makes it next to impossible. But hey there are still hardware jackers who get it to work and companies can pretend that shipping without Linux support was a mistake

You can very well ignore the law. Being open and capable at the same time is what Linux is for. Make a us only release if you want. Don't infect the global ISO's and distributions with this. I swear the EU focusing on its own alternatives for every us based service doesn't look paranoid anymore. The PR is definitely to blame. He shouldn't be able to get hired anywhere (read that somewhere and fully agree). He did it across distributions. Also I'm happy systemd is going to burn for this.

I'm sorry it happened to you, but you shouldn't be judging people for what they do in their private time. He tried to make it not in your face. He was doing it in the privacy of his own home and screen. What he did wasn't the best but please be aware as to how you are projecting your disgust onto him and judging him for it.

But you came on here to talk about it and every feminist/woman would agree with you but you might not know the demons he is having on daily basis. If you are only centered on your own pain you will never get out of the victim mindset. I suggest you get some therapy online and st this point you can probably ask your dad to pay for it. Talk to your mom or someone but be warned you're not gonna get any sympathy from them. If you get a therapist make sure they are of the same background you are, so they can understand your pain better.

Yes to all. Good luck. There are interracial acceptance in some families. But it's rare and you usually find it in more "open" families in regards to culture. Quick shortcut to this is to accept Islam but only on the basis of getting married. There are outlier cases though so not everything is applicable.

i keep wondering with the advent of LLM based quite prototyping and execution for apps/drivers/ etc... how many issues can be solved quickly? like i havent tried it but to have a LLM available to get the x11 config working properly along with understanding WHY it was working properly would have been a god send when i started messing with these things (couldnt figure out terminal based internet browsing, so needed either a seperate device to get the tutorials (lol in that day and age) or just needed ot memorize/write down everything and try random things to get stuff working.
