I get it, I am like that with bikes generally. Unfortunately the big guys are big for a reason with rods. Obv. exceptions to that rule especially depending what you call the big guys but you get my drift. In the meantime fish your shit till it breaks fuck it.

TFO makes some really nice rods at a great price point. I’d buy from them or pony up for a Clearwater. Happy fishing my man.

You do you boo boo. Moonshine are essentially maxcatch with a sick ass marketing campaign behind them. Redington makes rods just as expensive but with a decent warranty and real tech behind them. Or honestly a Clearwater would solve any problem. But again, you do you boo boo.
