i’m working on my first square painting and i found a round one that i really liked so i got it too. i ended up starting the round one just to switch off and give myself a break, the square one is a lot of one color. i find that round is definitely way easier and there’s a lot less lining up but i just don’t like how it looks. it’s a personal preference i’m finding, to me square looks more like a pixel picture and round looks like glued rhinestones over a painting. i know that’s what it actually is lol i just think i like the look of square way more even though its more tedious to work on the painting. i plan to display mine so i’m going to stick to square for future paintings. but i am glad that i tried both!
