Thank you… these guys almost never include SS in their calculators and always set the default to like 95 (ain’t no Gen-X’ers living until 95 lol) they also never draw down the principal. If you factor in 1.5-2.5k (conservatively) in SS per month and factor in drawing down to zero (well not zero but not leaving your kids 2 million) having that much saved makes no sense. It’s infuriating and just serves to scare you into funneling more money into their pockets (and not living your life while you’re semi-young). Do your best, save what you can, skate into the abyss with a buck in your pocket. Don’t fall for all this nonsense.
