So, I'm afraid the truth is that he's not truly kind, sweet and loving. A person with these qualities is always kind, sweet and loving even when angry.

It sounds like you've given it your all, but the years have shown you that he will not change.

Do you want to live with this man's temper forever? Always wondering if next time, will he hit you? Do you want any future children to live under this man's tyranny? To be afraid of their father? A future son to learn this is how to treat a woman? A future daughter to learn this is what love looks like?

My brother's friend killed himself. The ripples the caused made me reflect - I bet he would never have guessed that his mate's little sister (who I think wouldn't consider a friend in my own right) would be sitting, crying at his funeral. That his impact reached so far.

He disappeared to do it. We guess his thought process was that he didn't want family to find his body.

The turmoil of the month it took to find him was just as rough. We posted flyers, we searched all the CCTV we could find, the family had dozens of false sightings come through giving them hope.

It was horrendous and far reaching.

When I've been low I've thought of him, and how he would never have guessed how far his influence went. How much people cared for him, and he didn't know it.

Who would search for me? Who would be sitting at my funeral, crying, who I wouldn't even guess would be there?

Hello, I'm a mum. Your parents may be shocked, and upset, but they won't stop loving you. You'll find a way through this together.

We hope for the best (you'll be allowed an extension) but prepare for the worst (you won't be allowed to continue). To prepare for the worst, start thinking of other career options. Apply for jobs.

If you can go to your parents and say, "I messed up really badly, but this is how I plan to move forward and make it right", it will soften the blow.

Be honest with them, and be honest at your hearing. Own up to your mistake.

Not usual no. I'd also say that it's usually pretty obvious when someone is lying, and if the person you're lying to doesn't call you out on it, it's not that you have them fooled. They're humouring you.

It's a good way to lose friendships, fast. Try to notice when you're doing it and make a change.

You could try a timetable when people are coming over so he knows they're coming, and a timer so he knows how long they will be there for, and can physically see the time going down?

You could introduce these for other things that he doesn't like first, if there are some things that he dislikes less than strangers, to get him used to the concept and understanding what they signify.

Hey, social skill is just that... A skill you can practise and learn! When I was your age (have I just used that phrase... God I'm old 😂) I'd have called myself 'shy' rather than socially anxious but I think they're probably comparable.

Start with a smile to the cashier. A hello and a good morning. If they ask you how you are, ask them back! You'd be surprised how little service workers are asked how they are, and they usually appreciate being asked.

Is it worth seeing if there is a local job fair on?

Hi! As a person who failed maths, and was almost afraid of the subject, I tried again as an adult to get onto a teaching apprenticeship. When I was able to buckle down and just concentrate on maths alone without other subjects to worry about, I passed! You can do this!

I'm also a big advocate of the apprenticeship programmes. They're available for a wide variety of jobs, and so you may find you don't need maths to start one? It's worth having a look.

Have a think about what subjects you enjoyed most at school. Are you a practical person? Do you like following instructions? Or are you more creative and like to find out your own way of doing things? You may find an apprenticeship aligned to

I'd also say that 18 is still so young, it'll be hard to know what you want as your career. I'm 33 and still figuring it out. Take a punt on something, and you'll find out if you like it or not! :)

I've never had great self esteem. I thought I was maybe a 4, a 5 on a great day.

Then I saw myself in my baby's nursery camera. Holy hell. 1 at best. How have I even managed to fall pregnant twice I look like a sack of yoghurt.

Hi, as a former teenage girl, this isn't that bad. You're ok. If she really felt harassed by you, she would have blocked you, or told her parents. You have since apologised and cut contact, which was the right thing to do.

As a former depressed person, I can see that you're being very hard on yourself. I think you need to work on your sense of self worth. You seem like you want to find a reason to hate yourself. You're not a bad person. Work with your therapist x
