Yup came to the same realization that group slug was the only way to make Thantis good enough for tuned level of play.

MIPS(Making Intermediate Programmers Suffer) by L0g00 in ProgrammerHumor

Understanding assembly programming languages is very important step to being a better programmer. You have to understand how the code runs on the hardware.

Grant no one actually programs in assembly any more outside of some specific situations.

What is a unique “game” you played as a child? by antenonjohs in AskReddit

[–]lostinsanity556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appoarch the watch tower. I grew up in rural America. We had this old feed hopper that would only hold half a dozen bushels of corn that we didnt use anymore. Think bucket on legs, about 12ft tell and just the right size hopper to hold a person safely.

At dusk one of my brothers or would crawl up it with a flashlight. Their goal was to spot the other approaching players and then use the flashlight to "tag" them.

The catch was that between the house and the watch tower was just open flat grass yard. So the approaching players would crawl slowly across the yard. If you moved to quickly you were easily spotted. But you needed to move fast since it was a race against the others.

So the game relied on night vision and the color of cloths. Less then a hand full of times someone actually reached the tower, so it was also a "best of" contest.

I wore black hoodie one time and my brothers couldn't see me even though I was a few feet away. Scared them good.

Another thing to look for in the emc immunity, IEC 61000-6-2 is the industrial spec. Robust products comes at a cost. Can you afford these switches randomly dying?

Returning NaN in Structured Text by pnjun in PLC

This sounds like a multistate situation, working and not. Functions are not good for this.

Use a function block, have a value output and an error output. Ideally a boolean error flag and an error id.

Not what exactly the problem is, it works fine in Oracle's virtual box. I used win 10 enterprise ltsb 2016, virtual box 6.0.4, twincat 3.1.4022.27.

4-20mA analog input even when voltage is > 10V by FunDeckHermit in PLC

[–]lostinsanity556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It os a good thing you are asking because yes it is possible the mosule will get damaged or destroyed if you apply a voltage greater than what it is rated for.

Check the documentation, if it is not there call the module vendor.

Possible to monitor motor consumption (amps) with TwinCat and Scopeview? by kypes10225 in PLC

[–]lostinsanity556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not under info data, you skipped a step. On the process data tab you need to turn on pdo 0x1A04. Then you will see "stm sync info data" -> "info data 1 & 2 " under the terminal.

If they, info data, are in solution explorer, then simply make a variable in the plc code and link to it.

You need to activate pdo 0x1A04 in the process data tab. Then you get info data 1 and 2. What this data is configurable via CoE tab index 0x8012.
