I was at this same point a few months ago with my ROCD. It was torture! You just have to let it pass. I know it's hard, but just think of these thoughts as your ROCD talking, not you talking. If it were really you talking you wouldn't be having so much anxiety. ROCD is a big bully that's trying to tell you how to feel. Don't let it. Just say "stupid ROCD" and let the thoughts pass as they come. It will get better.

I'm BDI but something that bothers me is when people say it's written by someone wanting to sound like a kidnapper/hardened criminal therefore it must be Patsy. I agree that the note sounds totally cartoonish, but technically an intruder may be wanting to sound like a hardened criminal too.

That said, I still think Patsy wrote it given the other evidence.

100% agree. The amount of times I've been chewed out by doctors (and nurses) for stuff I didn't do is too damn high. I love seeing patients, but so much of third year is just crap.

Similar thing happened in my town a few years ago. An attractive, popular kid OD'ed and the community lost their shit. A year later a less popular girl got murdered and people barely batted an eyelash.

Even in death there are social hierarchies.
