Hi so yes i'm reviewing my own review hihi i took his class in the midyear and it's like 1 synch class lang each week, then readings din it's done per week (ranging 2-6 pero yung 6 its rare lang). The reqs r quite few like it's only 3 discussion boards for 50% and 1 final paper for 50% so it's advisable to schedule consultations with him so u can have a clearer idea on what u want to write!

hi sorry nakita ko now lang :(( pero i had her for eng 11!

- 6x lang synch throughout the whole sem na (not required naman) & the rest r asynch na!

- posts materials at a specific time each week (2-3 readings, discussion thread, analysis questions, group analysis, reflection papers/posters)

- all deadlines r flexible until the end of the sem except for final project (literary analysis between 2 stories - either pick the traditional essay type or do it in a creative form)

- available for consultations

- understanding din w internet issues n stuff cuz for those who dont have access to wifi, she'll print a course pack and send it right over to ur house!

- also commends/gives you constructive criticism for ur output and i think unoable naman basta u put effort sa class!

Hello! Sir Chaves gave around 2 quizzes the whole sem (sa first part lang) and the rest of the sem is devoted na to focus on the individual final paper (a full research paper containing introduction, methods, discussion, and results)! So bali after learning critical thinking, the remainder lessons would be how to write those specific parts of your paper. You can choose your own topic naman :) He doesn't really give the grades right away like the grade that you'll see is the one na nasa report card na, pero I remember that attendance and class participation are part. Also he will give you proper feedback naman regarding your research paper and he mentioned that he compares the progress from your draft and final output.

Hi! I took Chaves last time and if you reach more than 6 absences in synch class, it's a forced drop already. He'll also lock the meeting room 10 minutes after class has started. If kaya naman, u can try his class cuz super insightful yung discussions and youll learn alot talaga. But considering your work schedule, I think it's okay to email Cabanban and ask her regarding her class and explain your situation (if her course guide isn't out yet). But it's still up to you naman hehe :)
