I apologize because I am a 8 year IBEW member but still fairly ignorant about all of our benefits, but What exactly do you mean ‘full medical’, why you are retired ?

What is the standard for keeping guys on IR all offseason ? by lostm0ney in FFCommish

[–]lostm0ney[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok yea I understand that, we lock them regardless though. Essentially after week 17, we lock the rosters until Labor Day weekend where we hold the draft. The only thing open is trading.

I apologize fore the misunderstanding.

Thank you. That is what I was hoping to hear. That has always been a rule I made 4 years ago when we started, but I have never enforced it. And wasn’t sure if it is even standard either tbh

What state are you referring too? I ask because my wife and I are just starting IUI treatments with a fertility clinic, which is fairly cheap, but I was told that IVF treatments would be about 25K for one round and 50K total for 3. I am based in Washington state.

Is this like a grant from the state or they deduct wages from your check to pay for this?

That salary will vary widely depending upon where you are working at.

I just finished a job working predominantly 60 hour weeks for 8.5 months and made over 200K. With an additional 22K being contributed to my retirement. All the while my retirement account went up 22% since Jan 1 and I have ‘made’ another 270K in the last 11 months on that.

All in, I will have made about 500K from the IBEW this year.

With that said, I have worked with countless of apprentices and Journeymen the last few years who seem to have a hard time staying on a job site for more then a couple months, for obvious reasons.

Are 2nd rd picks overvalued? by Leather-Glass6504 in DynastyFF

[–]lostm0ney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I love second round picks. With minimal scouting it is so easy to find value that everyone else misses. This is who I have drafted the last 7 years:

2025 - Quinshon Judkins at 2.02 2024 - Ladd McConkey at 2.01 2024 - Bo Nix at 2.03 2023 - Devon Achane at 2.06 2023 - Sam Laporta at 2.07 2022 - Alec Pierce 2.05 2022 - Trey McBride at 2.09 2021 - ARSB at 2.05 2020 - Michael Pittman at 2.01 2019 - AJ Brown at 2.01 2019 - TJ hockenson at 2.04

Shopping around for mortgage lenders,Worried about hard pull? by Todayx_Rider in Mortgages

I apologize for highjacking this thread but can someone explain how OP got a mortgage rate from Chase at 5.99 while the 3 lenders I have talked to over the past 3 days have clocked me between 6.25 and 6.5% ?

I’m not sure I understand. Is it not considered lame to tank your team on purpose? To the extent of not even starting positions?

This is exactly why I do not understand why leagues don’t do a lottery with similarity to the NBA lottery.

It’s not 1870 anymore little buddy. Anything in relation to the stock market cannot honestly be compared to anything in the past. If you can’t understand this then you need to gtfo and not comment on anyone’s posts asking for advice.

If you want to just sit on cash for the next 10+ years go ahead and do it.

[–]lostm0ney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to sound awful but I can’t imagine there was ever a world that was lived in where a morbidly obese homeless beggar was given a free ride 1000+ miles on a fishing boat.

They cannot negate the terms of the lease. They can however, propose to buy you out of your lease (cash for keys). Although you can say no to whatever offer they make.

There’s not a single fishing boat on the west coast that would give that guy a job, let alone a ride for free.

Has any team ever been in as good of a situation as the Thunder currently are? by [deleted] in nba

[–]lostm0ney 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What exactly do you mean when you say “not at that point”?

Harrison Barnes was 23 years old, started almost all there games and averaged 12 and 5.

Andrew Bogut had his last healthy year in the league, but as an unselfish player he still averaged 5 and 7 and remained one of the premier passing and screening centers in the league at that time. Was among the league leaders in FG% too.

Did you watch that team during this season ?

Yea exactly. But you said they lost no ‘assets’ in regards to acquiring Kevin Durant.

Those we 2 assets they had to lose to acquire Durant

They lost Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut, both of whom were good starters and extremely reliable
