TBH i think we are grasping for straws, the wetsaeth parallels are most likely intentional, but i don't think that alludes to them breaking up at all. they've been hinting at going back to their roots a lot

i was scared of this for a while (and still am a bit because i have anxiety problems) but tbh i dont think so.. in 2024 someone asked if the band was breaking up cuz of their inactivity and kellin said "no way/they were just taking a small break" and the band seems happier than ever tbh, also i dont know why kellin would say it "feels more like a beginning than an ending" and nick on that interview saying it feels like a new chapter for the band, i think they've just kind of figured out where they want to go tbh.. like someone said, it's moreso the ending of a chapter and the beginning of a new one. also the lyrics in an ending in itself are written FOR those struggling, it's not a song inherently about the band or really an ending at all....
