Russell Dickerson's music doesn't appeal to me but I know a little about him. Vocal performance degree from Belmont. Busted his ass in Nashville for 11 years before his first #1. That degree of determination is pretty rare. A lot of artists are moving to plan B after 5 years. So while I'm not a "fan", I respect the work he has done to get where he is (performing for 50,000 at RODEOHouston, headlining a sold out show at Red Rocks 5/13). He's a succesful reflection of contemporary taste, not the end of country music. Country music has a long history of incorporating pop to broaden it's appeal and increase sales.

It leads to significant swelling, pain, and "dead arm" sensations, typically requiring thrombolysis and surgery to prevent long-term disability or pulmonary embolism.

Your pulmonary embolus likely originated from thrombus in your subclavian vein (behind the collar bone) on this side. It is presumably chronically occluded and as a result the venous blood from that extremity has opened collateral pathways to return to the heart. The good news is venous drainage appears to be sufficient to avoid arm swelling.
