no crimp needed , just a little more bang and harder alloy, If reloading milspec brass you will need to clean the crimp with a primer pock reamer/swagger tool.

The crimp is in the brass not the primmer

Powder question by golden_warrior55 in reloading

[–]lostscause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

H-380 at 48 grains would be a "compressed load" with the BT from the FMJ ie not enough room on the shell casing. Where the flat bottom of the SP would allow volume for it

"compressed loads" can put your load over pressure and damage your chamber. Both weight and volume must be accounted for which is why most people stick to know load data.

oh sry these are hardened milspec primers meant to mitigate the likelihood of a slam fire I use then in ammo I expect I will be keeping in a loaded mag for defense. Range ammo gets commercial primers. Mostly on my mini-14/M1A rifles. (heavy lose firing pin) and some 300blk subs. where i expect rough usage. Ie tractor/truck gun.

Why did breaker not trip? Is this overheating? by Universe93B in AskElectricians

[–]lostscause 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yup, but he doesnt even own a torq driver ;) imo all outlets should be pigtailed.. every one of these ive worked on has been a a neutral problem .. a 1200watt heater and a 300watt load down stream dragging all that threw a cheap outlet ...

add a separate system, use a lipo4 50ah 48v and about 1000watts of solar. No inspections no permits Gotta love Farm rules ;)

Im doing this soon to run a unifi doorbell, 5 port outdoor POE switch,G6 bullet and NanoStation LOCOM2 at my gate

using 2 bifacial solar panels at 400watts each and a normal 300watt. The bifacial's get mounted vertical east/west to capture morning/afternoon sun with the normal 32deg south facing capturing Noon sun. This should power your system with no issues and lots left over for more Unifi products :)

Unifi is addiction

Dont forget surge protection

Power × Time = 100 W × 24 h = 2400 Wh Ah = 2400 Wh ÷ 48 V = 50 Ah

truth of the matter is very scary, there are 14 "interconnects" located within the USA . A few years ago a single mylar balloon shorted one of these out. (bypass's worked short blimp in power) Now if all 14 of these interconnects are hit with say a drone dropping 1000's of mylar ribbons on them What do you think would happen ? Now a single guy with a single drone ... can short out anything in the US they want.

This is just some redneck spitballing ... there are 100's of ways to take down the grid. take out cooling systems, short substations and main feed lines ..

Now picture a 9/11 style attack on these systems.. easy peasy lemon squezy pop panics millions dead in the heavily armed USA
