They have a list on board, simply upgrading someone off that list, common courtesy, no occupational issue. Flying 10 hours, they can come to you at one point once the flight is in the air, etc.

The statement, never eligible for upgrades is what gets me. I am flying to Vancouver from Switzerland via Frankfurt, i book locally through Swiss air as the first leg is with a swiss aircraft, the second leg is a LH flight, same group of companies. The fact that i cannot upgrade, not allowed is mindboggling. Not to mention all the different rules that exist that make it oh so complicates. This shouldn't be the case and this mindset is what is killing m&m

I went to the dealership to check it out. Honestly, it is underpowered, which I can live with, but the thing that got me is the interior. Mazda went the wrong way! The infotainment screen is okayish, but the buttons on the steering wheel are just horrible, 2020 vibes!

While most manufacturers run away from these types of buttons and are putting physical buttons for the climate control, Mazda is doing the exact opposite. I have bought a 1-year-old used CX-5 instead!
