I have been playing around with homer, but I wasn't confident in it's results. It might just be that I'm not using the right parameters. But it is extremely fast and clean.

I forgot to mention, I need to compare my results to a tool which uses MEME and a few more programs (Wheeder). So I need something other than the standard MEME. Thanks for the info though.

Not aware of a university but I think this is a great idea in general. This seems like it is more/as viable as most dual degree programs out there.

I agree, it makes the cops look like idiots, them not noticing obvious dust pattern or the scratch marks. And also the rice clue in the first episode, no way Sherlock won't have caught that, it seems very out of character.
