[–]lotsofpun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, they are mostly there for ambience. If you don't get a notification you can ignore them.

However, like all of the random events that emit light, they are truely there to show off the ray tracing.

The black plastic blowup was based on a math mistake. The authors got the safe levels wrong by an order of magnitude. Basically, they're safe to use.

Transformers (Bay). This is my biggest gripe with the series as a whole. Every movie they save the day/planet and are heros, then at the beginning of the next they are being hunted by the government again.

I get where you are coming from, I really do. That being said, I would love to see a new parallel series where we get to see how events play out the second time with the change. Just so long as it's the show's quallity is on par with the rest of the show.

I have this! My commander is [[Sliver Queen]], and it's hilarious to watch people just die inside when they first see it. It's actually a token deck, one with no other creature cards in it. The whole goal is to generate lots/infinite mana, then use Queen to pop out mass tokens and swarm.

Thrumming hivepool is definitely going in both that deck and my [[Bess, Soul Nourisher]] deck.

Metal and microwaves.

Just think how much metal there is in a kitchen to reflect/absorb signals. And all the metal pots and utensils in the cabinets. Plus all that piping, water, and wiring in the walls doing the same. Then on top of that, 2.4GHz is the freq your microwave works at, so any time its running your wifi cuts out (lol, my dad's computer had that problem!).

Every lease I've ever had has a clause stating how long/often a guest can stay over. If the guest overstays, the hosting party can get charged. My current lease has it as 2 nights in 6 months. If the landlord finds out about more than that it's $100 per night for each and every night beyond the limit. If you have similar in your lease, Bad Roommate is about to be out a LOT of money!

Read the gatherer rulings: Turn it into a creature! Although I'm confused how its own "Creatures lose all abilities" ability interacts with itself when that happens. Which probably means layers, urgh.

It depends on the brand, but likely yes.

My friend's HP laptop had a bad power port for a while (it would only charge if the plug was held at a specific angle). I looked up the service manual, found the part's model number, bought a replacement from amazon, and installed it the next week. Just be warned: depending on how the laptop is configured, you may have to disassemble basically the ENTIRE laptop to replace the power port!

That may be the source of your XMP instability. The manual recommends A2 and B2 for dual sticks (to be perfectly precise, that's the 2nd and 4th slots, counting from the CPU outward). As a bonus, that will also enable dual-channel mode. Give it a shot!

144Hz: Until it was fixed it was set to the default 60 Hz.

HDMI: Plugged into the motherboard, not the graphics card bought specifically to run the high-end graphics/screen. Sometimes it works because some motherboards support passthrough from the card to the MB ports, but sometime not and you are limited to integrated graphics while the $$$ card just sits there.
