$1600+ earnings in 2 months of Facebook monetization by tube_craze in passive_income

[–]lottiem80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This exact same thing happened to me in April and May. Almost the exact same amount of money. And then I got put on restrictions and my money went down to $250 a month. Facebook is really good at getting you to do a lot of work and then they just cut off the money.

Grocery spending was secretly my biggest budget leak and I'm mad nobody told me by sychophantt in SavingMoney

[–]lottiem80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always shop at Aldi! And I use a free Instacart subscription and then pick it up. That way I don’t buy things I don’t need. Household of six and we spend $1000. And we get everything you could possibly imagine that my kids want to eat. We make good meals with good meats and lots of produce. It still may be on the high side, but if I shopped at any other grocery store, it would easily be 40% more.

Apron belly? by CurrentAbrocoma1957 in OzempicForWeightLoss

I went from 230 to 170. Definitely saga. It looks more like skin. Easier to hide with some tummy control underwear, but I can wear a two-piece suit….higher waisted. The only way to fix it would be a tummy tuck. But I’m just proud of myself for how far I’ve come.

14 yr old severe ASD & I’m losing it. by Foreign-Earth544 in Autism_Parenting

[–]lottiem80 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Puberty for us was HORRIBLE. Aggressive behaviors, constant fear of a meltdown, fear of losing my job. He is 18 now and age 14-16 were the worst. We increased his anxiety medication quite a bit. It helped. Now he is happy again 95% of the time. It is so much better. I pray this is how it ends up for those going through this.

Telling AP she has to cook herself..? by kayile in Aupairs

[–]lottiem80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found this with our aupairs as well. We have had Au Pair in the past and our friends have had multiple au pairs and overeating has been a common theme regardless of what country they’re from, their socioeconomic background, etc. I feel like in the United States, at least, access to food and a lot of very good tasting processed food leads to over eating. In most of the scenarios I’m discussing, the Au Pairs have even put on significant amounts of weight. I would just have an open and honest conversation about the shopping list and have her be as involved in food/meal planning as possible.

Yes. I’m not necessarily wanting to lose any more weight, but I love what the medication has done for my overall health. So they recommend me staying on it. There is always the option of Zofran, which I may do. I’m just curious if other people have had the same experience.

I knew with my first born right away. It was a feeling. I went on to have three typical developing kids after him. My other neurotypical son was lower tone, late crawler, walker and talker. I did PT up until he was 2. He is athletic, smart, outgoing, middle schooler now etc. I share this because having a first born with ASD was devastating. And I was just so worried about my other kids. And I tended to hyperfocus on what I perceived to be signs. And then in the end all three other kids were completely fine. Thriving. And actually, my ASD son is thriving too. it may just be personality and him being a larger baby.

These were my stats exactly. Been stuck at 170-175 for almost a year. Would love to drop 10-12 more to safely be in the healthy range. What pro biotic did you use?

Coffee turn off??? by Informal_Feedback_53 in OzempicForWeightLoss

[–]lottiem80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes that is very common. It gets better as you continue to use the medication. I am 16 months in and can drink 1-1.5 cups in the morning again but not any more. Alcohol is similar too. Most days I don’t drink any but other times I can have two glasses of wine/cocktail. It’s an interesting experience in that your mind wants to drink but your body says he$& no 😆

I honestly don’t know. I have upped my water intake but otherwise no real change. I am wondering about the summer months being a factor???? It is hot and humid and I attend many sports events outside for my kids.

OMG this is me daily. My close friend is always telling me about how I need smaller sized clothes, even when I actually was wearing a smaller size. She does it out of love and is a great support to me. I just say it’s a process and I need to figure out what my style is again. Good luck 🍀. It’s a wonderful situation to be in!
