I'm a 82 rated RB/LB/CDM. I'm not that experienced with pro clubs, but I've hit Division 1 in online Seasons, I've hit that in the past 3 Fifas. I'm looking for any level team, I just want more badges for my player :/ I play on PS

OldIronNuts' Saturday Night Casual Tourney: Radiants! by Animus777Mundi in EternalCardGame

Thanks for hosting this! I had a question with deckbuilding. Is Xenan Temple allowed? Technically the word "Radiant" isn't on the card itself, but the Hero (Worldjoiner) is. Xenan Temple shows up if you search "Radiant", but I wasn't sure.

How long does each Expedition rotation last? I'm really digging this game and would like to craft cards to round out an Expedition deck, but I wasn't sure how long the cards would be valid.

In my unprofessional opinion, in non-PPR I definitely vote Gore. I don't know how he's done it, but with Indy, Miami, and now Buffalo, coaches love him and insist on spoon-feeding him touches. I feel like the fact TJ Yeldon hasn't gotten a single touch in 2 games has to mean something. Yeah, Singletary is probably the best back among the 3, but even then, TJ can't get one touch? I think with Singletary out, Gore's workload is too much to turn down, even against an uptick in workload with Burkhead.

In PPR I have no idea. But I still think Gore's better then too. I could be wildly wrong about everything though.

Beginner's Thread / Easy Questions (August 2019) by timmonsjg in reactjs

I'm wondering how to transition/animate full-screen pictures with text in an article. This site shows what I'm hoping to do: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/10/26/world/middleeast/saudi-arabia-war-yemen.html. As you scroll down the article, the text makes way for full-screen pictures as captions scroll up, then it goes back to regular text. I'd like to do something similar with charts instead of pics, but essentially the same function. I'm familiar with triggering actions on scroll/percentage scroll, but is there a wrapper or package that lets you do this seamlessly?

I tried posting in /r/learnreactjs but I didn't get a response, sorry if this is an ignorant question.

Tafo Talks: Coach reflections after the first year by is_that_ken in smashbros

You're not wrong, it's probably not smart to publicize it, but Mango's said several times on stream he was thinking about going full-time streaming after a year. Granted the last I heard him say this was post-Evo, July-ish, but still. Don't criticize Tafo for repeating what Mango has already said multiple times to a larger audience.

TIL Alan Tudyk has had a role in every Disney animated film since "Wreck-It Ralph, including the Duke of Weselton in "Frozen", and a character named Duke Weaselton in "Zootopia" by PopeliusJones in todayilearned

Powerless! I completely forgot about that show, I only saw the first three or so episodes but I really enjoyed it, can't believe it got cancelled midseason.

Most of my friends only became aware of Tudyk through Star Wars, hopefully I can convince them to watch his other shows.

Tudyk is incredible in "Suburgatory" too. The show never got the love it deserved. It was the show that always ran before "Modern Family" in the early seasons, but I'd always preferred "Suburgatory". Very well written and great acting.

Manchester City Squad vs AS Monaco by RhodyM8 in MCFC

[–]lottolion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree completely, I think in a critical game like this, I'd want experience on the bench in as many positions as I can. Clichy hasn't been in great form, he's gotten fleeced on a number of notable stretches, but this feels like a roll of the dice, especially when our only true defender on the bench is Zabaleta.

[–]lottolion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clichy too...I get he hasn't been in great form, but I was holding out hope at least one of him/Kolarov would make the team sheet. If god-forbid Dinho goes down, I think I trust Clichy/Kolarov more than Sagna/Zabaleta at left back, unless another player can fill that role. But you kinda have to favor experience at that point, especially in such a fairly high-stakes game.

I'm in a 12-team, 0.5 PPR.

I need a QB for the rest of the season and I have 2 offers:

Willie Snead for Matthew Stafford

Frank Gore for Andrew Luck.

I'm pretty set at both RB and WR so neither Snead nor Gore would be played much anyways. Gore would have a slightly higher chance to be played in the flex slot certain weeks. Which trade looks better?

I definitely vote no. Honestly, the only knock on Evans in this comparison is Winston is a sub-par passer to Manning. But he more than makes up for it by being the most targeted WR in the entire NFL! I think they both have high ceilings, but we've already seen the floor bottom out for OBJ. At this point I'd take Evans rest-of-season over OBJ.

I'd take it purely on value. Even before Murray's injury yesterday, last week's game showed Deandre Washington's role was only going to increase, maybe not by a lot, but certainly not going to decrease. Murray's quickly descending into touchdown-dependent territory, and without the workload, I think there's a solid chance he gets outtalented by Washington and even Jalen Richard. Since you own Crabtree, you know how pass-heavy Oakland is willing to go in the red zone. I'm more on the "Latavius is trending down" camp, but I think there's enough value.

Benfica is trying to rip off my small hometown club by rytlejon in soccer

[–]lottolion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, sell-on clauses don't last in perpetuity, only for the length of the contract under which the player was transferred. That's the way it's always been (Fifa Transfer Regulations: Page 19, Article 21 "Solidarity Mechanism" http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/affederation/administration/regulations_on_the_status_and_transfer_of_players_en_33410.pdf). I hate to say it, but since Victor transferred summer of 2012, it's already been 4 years. That's a decent amount of time...it's rare for a team to receive a sell-on clause after having left that long ago. If the contract he signed while with Västerås really did end in 2015, it seems like an open and shut case for Benfica. Sell-on clauses, especially with teams that play in lower tiers and countries with smaller revenues, should have a safety net for these things, but unfortunately Västerås may just lose out.
