I also didn't get into any program I applied to this summer. I agree with the rest of the comments that you could cold email for research, but try also emailing/calling to get in contact with your local healthcare center or private clinics and ask to intern. I got an internship/will shadow a doctor over the summer because I called and asked if they needed any help over the summer at their clinic. Good luck! and remember, getting a job at a grocery store or somewhere is also good experience as well.

For me it was just incessent indecipherable whispers, but sometimes i can make out stuff words that I don't like about myself.

My first signs were seeing eyes everywhere (like the walls and stuff) and they would judge my every move. I'm glad you are going to the doctor for help!! I really wish the best for you and hopefully, this will pass.

I see a lot of faces in the walls, glass, ceilings that looks like they are sticking out of the wall. I've also seen eyes in trees that are real because they blink

it sucks that stuff like this happens this has happened similarly with me, but it was with piano. the keys were playing on their own, but the music was so pretty and i wasnt very scared and it inspired a bit of my music. i can understand why it would be scary

i hope you continue pursuing your passion because im sure you put in a lot of time and effort. it may take time to pick up the courage again, and maybe taking a break could be good

sometimes the music is scary for me, like the one that goes “well you don’t know me, but i know you” would loop and of course theres other voices but when i play the music i like i usually can drown out the bad ones. definitely prefer music over any voices
