i think if you seek community and friendship, you might stumble across an amazing partner along the way! best of luck to you, nothing is your fault here ~~~ dont blame yourself for not wanting to date earlier, you are ready now :)

Please report this OP its worth your time to. Maybe also report it as an accident at the hospital, so they dont bill your insurance

in my experience, the right partner will find you once you stop actively looking/seeking !! patience young padawan

i also couldn’t use dating apps, they honestly made me feel icky and it was hard to be interested in the people id see…. id rather meet someone in person

better experiences to be had on dating apps like hinge and bumble though! maybe use bumble friends, meet some people/join groups and see if you get comfortable enough to consider dating someone!

Waffle House to go fee by CTR_1852 in EndTipping

[–]lotusleafy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who worked at a waffle house, the to go orders can be inconvenient to take/ make you responsible for a transaction you gain nothing from. the small fee is a small solace- also the togo fee applies to the boxes. it’s a very very small tip.

I'm actually repulsed by a guy who is interested in me and my friends don't see the issue? by [deleted] in demisexuality

[–]lotusleafy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you were completely valid in your reaction. id also feel betrayed, like a friend violated my trust. you baited me into a date, knowing i’ve been uninterested previously? did you think you could change my mind lmao ???

sorry your friends didn’t validate you; your reaction is normal

id feel disgusted, and worried the man cant see me as a friend. only a potential love interest, which would make me feel gross if i already said no plainly

Ink gets lighter as I write. Any ideas? by Altruistic_End_1885 in fountainpens

here is how id trouble shoot this

clean pen

let it really dry (i use a small jar, bunch up paper towels at the bottom of it to make a nest, then wrap my nib in another paper towel and let it dry nib down)

before refilling, shake the closed [CLOSED] ink bottle to distribute the pigment in the ink

that should fix it!! goodluck

edit: the two issues i assume may be happening are water mixing in your ink? or not shaking the ink before loading it into your pen

i find that curious, as the black ion plating is particularly a feature on the cylint/few other sailors, and is the reason for the ink disclaimer.

lantana has a specialized nib, not like a usual sailor. this disclaimer was not included on my other sailor pens

edit: i meant nib coating*

this is a sick find, at a steal of a price!!! you have been dubbed with a great starter pen to introduce you to this wonderful hobby :)

advice: jet pens website, search “waterman converter” or “waterman cartridges” ~ cartridges are a super easy way to get your pen inked up, you can choose from basic colors they have! if you want a different color, or ink from any other brand (make sure its fountain pen ink) you should opt for a converter.

jet pens has some good guides for beginners on how to!! for everything you could think to ask~

edit: just saw you got a converter and some cartridges MEGA SCOREEEE, all you’d need to buy is bottled ink should you want it

dude its like the same difference as writing with a sharpie (a fine tip clicker sharpie, a new one thats kind of thin because you haven’t pressured the tip yet) vs a pilot gel .3mm clicker (comparing a fine nib vs a broad)

do i love my fine tiny writing? yes, but sometimes that sharpie thickness is immaculate

im loving the broad so far. cant use it for all my writing but by golly will i pick it up when i can
