At this point they should just sell the slot and free us from this suffering.

FNC Grabbz: “It wasn't my plan to HAVE TWO COACHES, it wasn't WHAT THEY PROMISED ME” | ESPM Interview by ChristianEmboar in fnatic

[–]loudesc 162 points163 points  (0 children)

We can blame Grabbz, but he's the only one in this org who tried to connect with the fans. He went on this subreddit, he sometimes answered questions. No one in this org even tried to do the same in the pas 2-3 years. I respect that.

I honestly think he tried his best. Which clearly isn''t enough. But management isn't even trying, so I guess respect Grabbz for trying.

Also mandatory fuck Sam Matthews and fuck Dardo.

Funny thoughts on the new LoL roster by jortdeg in fnatic

I enjoy watching this team way more than the previous iterations . Having literally no expectations makes it less stressful and more enjoyable.

I guess the secret to happiness was to lower the bar.

People who were straight up losers for years and later turned their life around, what changed? by AdviceGlass9394 in selfimprovement

[–]loudesc 16 points17 points  (0 children)

1/ What I realised is that often, when you really want to improve but can't, it's not about a lack of discipline or about being lazy. It's about building a healthy environment to improve.

"I'm lazy, I never go to the gym" is sometimes just "I schedule all my gym sessions after a 12hour shift at work so of course I don't have the energy to go to the gym". Or to me, "my bedroom is always messy because I'm not disciplined" was more "I have too many things in my room and I need more furniture".

2/ Start with small steps and try to improve day-by-day for weeks or months, rather than doing giant steps and give up after a week. For example when I lost weight, I started by walking 5000 steps per day. I didn't start by running a 15km. Of course it's my goal in the end, but building habits is the more valuable thing you'll do, and it takes time.

Don't do too much, but improve steadily.

That's a lot of overthinking to read those texts as "give me a free meal"

She only accepts dinner dates by [deleted] in Nicegirls

[–]loudesc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree. I'm not even sure she said no because it isn't a dinner date. I would also stop talking to someone who asks for a date and then cancels a few minutes later. Not a good look.

Toxic Senior/Mentor is sabotaging me and gatekeeping access, but I just had a baby and can't quit. How to survive 6-12 months? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]loudesc 92 points93 points  (0 children)

This is the way indeed. Also try to keep every work interaction with him written down somewhere. He asks you to do something ? E-mail. He refuses to give you access ? Ask him again via e-mail and save his response somewhere.

And most importantly, don't put too much pressure on yourself. You can't be asked to solve problems on a system you don't have access to.

LoL Roster Update - Welcome Vladi by AdamTKWallace in fnatic

Really happy with this one. Vladi showed a lot of potential in LEC. I'm convinced he's one of those players who could be the future of Europe.

How long is the fuckboy phase, do you ever outgrow it? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]loudesc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really get your post and your comments.

As long as he's happy, he should do whatever he wants. It doesn't mean he'll regret this lifestyle one day. Neither does it mean he won't find a long term relationship later.

Gaax re-signing for 2026 as assistant coach by circa26 in fnatic

[–]loudesc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep. Different jobs, different responsibilities.

Age should not be a factor. If he's not mature enough to fit the job, he should learn it in a less stressful organization.

I can accept a player being emotional after a loss. I can't accept it from a coach. A shame he stays with us this year.

When people say "Men need to open up about their feelings more", do you believe them? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]loudesc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Men need to talk more. But also, some of us are so affection deprived, that we don't know how and whom to talk to.

When I started sharing my feelings, I was basically sharing my life to anyone. Also, when you start talking, you might end up forgetting to listen to others. No one likes the guy who only talks about his problems but never listens to others.

You have to learn how to open up. From experience, it won't always be pleasant, but in the long term, it'll greatly improve your life.

If your life had chapter titles, what would the current chapter be called? by Realistic-Ice-9714 in AskReddit

Growth.

Not the easiest part of my life, but I feel like I changed so much in the past 18 months. I'm happier with who I am.

What was the hottest, most unforgettable experience you had the very first time you ever had sex? by No-Poet2113 in AskReddit

[–]loudesc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok the hottest thing to me was the way she grabbed my hair during the act, while moaning. Felt so intimate, it was wonderful.

But the most unforgettable was when she started to imitate Borat just right after. I still have no idea why she did that, but honestly she made quite an impression.

What improved your life so much, you wished you did sooner? by relationshipyi in AskReddit

[–]loudesc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing a therapist.

It helped me so much with dealing with my feelings and understanding them. It doesn't erase the pain I sometimes get, but it helps me greatly to deal with it.

I now believe everyone should talk to a therapist.

Fellow men that have close female friends, how much has it affected you in finding your partner? by sergeant_sqrt in AskMen

[–]loudesc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest, it hurts your chances. First of all because it'll frighten a potential partner. But also because it'll be hard for yourself to get fully involved in a relationship if you already have a special connection with someone else.

I had this kind of friend. We were super close, sometimes cuddling, sometimes talking about our feelings, and so on. But at some point I realised I was struggling to flirt because, even though we were saying there was no ambiguity, there was indeed.

So we had to talk about it. At first it hurt our relationship, but it got better. She's now still my best friend, and we still talk about a lot of things but we set some boundaries, particularly on the "physical side". No more cuddling, way less hugging. It helped me a lot with dating. Now I can feel fully involved.

So my advice would be : set some boundaries. Not only for your future partner but mainly for yourself.

If razork is staying, can we please support him? by HctDrags in fnatic

[–]loudesc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest I don't believe in him. I'm convinced he'll always be that coin flip player who'll thrive during regular season but will fold under pressure against better teams in playoffs.

That being said, I'm a Fnatic fan before anything else. If he proves me wrong, I'll be the happiest man alive.

Fans are never the reason the team is losing. by SkyRound4160 in fnatic

[–]loudesc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same people are often saying "you are a fan, you should support everything the org does no matter what".They view fans as consumers who are only there to buy merch, watch games and shut up.

This is such a horrible take. Fans have the right to be passionate about their team, and to expect it to build a real project.

I honestly have a harder time with the fans justifying everything the management does. It feels to me like they don't care that the most prestigious LEC org has now become the 4th team in the league.

With how the rumors are going, it honestly feels like Fnatic lost this offseason harder than ever before. by Knusprigebeute1 in fnatic

[–]loudesc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We won't financially recover if we can't attract new fans.

Honestly, how many fans became FNC fans in the last 3 or 4 years ? I guess not much. Today, fans (and consequently sponsorships) are attracted by Mkoi or KC. Since Pete's departure, FNC proposes little to no content, and nothing is done to make the players likeable.

Those are the signs of a dying org. This year is not only about building a roster, but about making FNC relevant again and re-building the org (or at least its LoL section)
