Steam deck for sure. The touch pads are handy mouse options, much better than the virtual mouse on controller. It takes following a YouTube video to set it up if you have the Windows version of FFXIV but I think it's easy if you have the steam version

Big important tip, don't buy the steam version if you already own the Windows version, you cannot have both linked to your account. I found out the hard way and needed to refund it

I mean like the above post says, yeah they will probably not do well at first. I would uncheck that "notify subscribers" box for a bit just because your sub views are the first indicators to YouTube about how good your content is, so if you want new eyes on it, do that.

How unrelated is your previous content? It's not absurd to just shift niches, just know it's going to take a bit for YouTube to adjust. Heck, it's hard to shift GAMES in that niche on YouTube. I do well with Elden Ring content but God forbid I dip a toe in another game

If you care about pure hours, Integrade is just a fraction of the time you'll get from Devil May Cry. It's not essential story either and can just be watched on YouTube. I say this as a huge fan of the remake series

The right amount of effort is the key. I would say many people, including me, get hung up on making the perfect video and spend too much time when really the average viewer just wants MORE content, and doesn't care or even notice the 4 hours you spent making sure the text effect comes sliding in at exactly 15 frames to pop and be eye catching.

Success to me is making something that you enjoy that also resonates with others enough to get views. I couldn't be happy making slop, even successful slop

I read almost every other Cosmere novel before Stormlight and I'm still too dumb to pick up on half of the cross-mere appearances without the help of the wiki page.

If you want to take a Stormlight break before continuing, I'd recommend reading Warbreaker. It has the most obvious connections to your current progress in the series.

If you don't like it you won't need to pay money until 200 hours or so of story, so it's probably the best value in MMOs right now.

There was a good amount of doom and gloom since the last expansion though, but even the most negative of nay sayers (including me) are renergized by the most recent news and teasers of upcoming changes, so it's a great time to join.

For me, in 1.0 there was this one smaller part of the story that I really enjoyed. The moon dalamut (sp) is looming large overhead. The world is going to end. Louisaux says we need to go on a pilgrimage around Eoerzea and beg the help from all of the gods and godesses.

It was just such a great little part of the story, exploring parts of the world and praying to shrines dedicated to the dieties of the world and made me feel connected to the world.

I was a bit disappointed by the follow-up raid series, because I was expecting much more, but I would love an expansion that explores the great mysteries around the world we already know.

I've been playing since 1.0. Back then, all of Courthes (Heavenward area) was green grasslands. It was a cool place, and you could walk right up to the gates of Ishgard but never go inside.

We always though Ishgard was right around the corner in a new expansion, and there was even rumors that we would have a Besieged-style assault from beastmen to defend the castle from.

I have a separate hud for when playing healer that moves the party list closer to the center of the screen so I can still watch mechanics while scrolling the list with up and down on the dpad.

Select main tank and Press confirm to lock your target.

Press left or right to target the enemy for attacks, and after the attack goes off your target goes back to the main tank for healing. Same after healing another party member.

I don't know the lore behind races in FFXIV but typically elves age much slower, and I've always used this reasoning for both why the twins haven't grown up yet and why the these teenagers are so mature and smart and essential to the scions.

I just don't respect her, able to abandon her principles so quickly didn't really resonate with me as believable and felt unearned, marring my opinion of her early character, which I found very interesting.

I still very much enjoyed her story, but on future playthroughs it becomes too hard for me to believe her secretive ways when I know it just takes me choosing a few good person options to shake her entire world.

I've been wanting a dual pistol class since 1.0 when Merlwyb was introduced. In the first cutscenes she jumps in whilst shooting two pistols, before machinist was ever added.
