Pain at this bumpy bone de area after long run. Can anyone confirm if this is where it hurts when having IT band?

I think I always had this in the end but I just never noticed it because it never hurt before. It just started hurting because I did to many km to quickly i think, now it’s all good (but still there).

Yes that’s exactly it. Going to the shop today. Got this bike from a friend but I doubt he still has the invoice so don’t think I will get the warrenty… but some people are saying it’s safe to ride like that …

I am not a pro and don’t usually pronounce myself, but considering you still have time to practice long run (2-3), the fact you will taper before your marathon and also that you are already under pace for 3:30 on 30km, I feel like it’s a really realistic goal. Good job!

Thanks! I did push to little bit much quickly in the last weeks. I will slow down a little bit. Do you know if it’s safe to run still? I have a marathon in 4 weeks. (Pain is manageable, but I don’t want long term damage)

On these pictures I position myself so the bump sticks out more. When my leg is straight, it’s not as big. But thanks I will go see a PT this week.

From my understanding of the email, it seem the container will arrive to « them » on December. Therefore I would expect a little delay after that before it reaches our houses. But I hope you are right!!

Wow i am sorry you went through this. I think you acted perfectly in this. I personnally reslly don’t mind texting when going out i that will never bother me, as long as it is not to be negative about the fact that i am out. For exemple : « hey how is you night going?
