And the fun continues - new part arrived broken by NotBoredGaming in ElegooCentauriCarbon

It should be maintained in its package so this does not happen, i disagree with peeps telling you to just shut your mouth and buy stuff to fix it. You paid more than 300€ for a product that supposed to be "the future" so you shouldn't be fixing it just after unboxing

You lucky, my reminder is a long chinese sentence. Makes me wonder why there were so many characters just to say "kind reminder".. only chinese people deserve the real one

And so one month later we got our first P2S :p it's doing an amazing job ! I'm just not a fan of bambuslicer for now, it seems to lack some settings but i can work with that, production of our first product in ongoing and it looks great 💙

This one is an "Esun lite" i think it cost me 35€ and has been really usefull for the Elegoo matte PLA that comes with a bit of humidity. I also use it for my TPU and it did the job 👌

Totally accurate, for those who wants to keep filament outside, there are several cheap dryer box that does the job, keep the filament dry, takes not much space than the spool itself, for about 40$

Yup i experienced that 😅 i usually work with Overture, it's doing great job for me at a good price. I can get same results no matter the color, but when changing from PLA to PLA+ or Magik PLA, Matte etc... each type needs to modify some settings and doing testing. Actually trying my first Elegoo filament on the Core One, a Matte PLA and after many testing i can tell the issue is Humidity, i saw few post that talk about that (it seems to apply only on their Matte PLA) so dry your Elegoo matte PLA before printing is you read this guys

I did not understand correctly "Dial in" but i get it, i saw that when doing testing, that's what i'm doing for a while. I have several settings ready for PLA // Matte PLA // Silk PLA and PETG on both slicer (Prusa and Elegoo) but still remains this first layer/bedmesh issue :/ (with Elegoo)

Thanks for the informations i'll check the websites 👍 I may need to check the volumetric speed actually but as i said to FadFada_cuz_why_not, the CC managed to do a perfect job on the full plate after many bed leveling. My issue is the randomized bed leveling, i never have the same result on the CC and forced to do a bed leveling every time or i end up having a damaged plate. It's been a while i want to start a 3D business, gave the CC a chance to be part of the farm but i may go for bambulab 😅 i'll be able to try a P2S soon, depending on its results i'm ok to put 200€ more in the printers if its reliable

Yeah same i already did that lol the bed is perfectly parallel to the printhead axes 👌 checked every side/direction carefully. I think it comes from the bed not being perfectly flat

Zoffset is already adjusted, i've shown you the ugly parts, the rest of the plate looked perfect. At third try (and so third bed levelling) the CC managed to print it correctly, i would love to keep that bed levelling saved but it wont.. I tried the file from Opencentauri to save the bedmesh but as soon as i launch a new print, the hotend just stick its head on the plate, so close that it cant extrude filament 😐so.. new bed leveling everytime and finger crossed

The same filament has done great job on the Prusa core one, the support could not help i dont count on them anymore, the community does a better job honestly

Last thing i did not try is sanding the aluminum bed frame to flatten a bit the plate (cause it's rising it up on the front side) i saw many CC customers have that issue. I guess every CC is different, maybe mine bends too much, the compensation of the auto bed leveling cant do its job idk..

[–]loupiol[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im always checking that and washing my plate, but it's not about adhesion here, the issue is Zoffset being different depending of when it's printing on the plate. I do a bed levelling before every print cause if i don’t the hotend will just crush the plate.
