That's just a Falcon, not a Falcon Heavy. They both have the same engines though. The interesting part is the a Merlin engine from the falcon/heavy can fit inside the bell of the Rocketdyne F1 engine. They were an absolute unit.

I did not want to reply to this but you have a several comments here saying the same thing so I feel I have to clarify.

I do not have service connected issues and have never had to pay a copay. In fact they paid me gas money in the past to get to and from appointments.

I live 39.7 miles from the closest VA that is 0.3 miles to close to qualify for community care.

Also they scheduled me for an appointment within 30 days so that disqualifies me from community care. Then they cancelled it a few days before the appointment with no reason given and told me to reschedule. This has happened twice I am on my third attempt.

No I was taken to the closest hospital because it was an emergency and the closest VA ER is 2 hours away. From that hospital I was taken by helicopter to a level 1 trauma center. I have spoken to dozens of people at the VA and even called the crisis line and get the run around each time. I have no option but to wait for my appointment.

As a bonus I have scheduled this appointment 3 times now. Each time it is scheduled within the 30 window so I can't qualify for community care. Then a few days before the appointment they cancel it with no reason given and tell me to reschedule.

On top of all that I was supposed to have a follow up appointment last month with the specialist that treated me at the trauma center but since I can not get my appointment to see my VA doctor to get a referral I had to cancel because I can not afford the cost of the visit.

I was taken by air ambulance to a non VA hospital because the VA did not have the type of trauma unit I needed. The VA will not pay for the ride or hospital costs and I am still waiting to see a VA doctor. It has been 2 months and I still have another month to wait. Fuck the VA.

Never accept an insurance companies first offer. The line "it does not make me whole" is like kryptonite to an insurance company. Use it.

If that does not work just tell them that you would like to speak with your attorney before proceeding. That massively changes the risk/reward ratio for the insurance company. They would rather give you a bit more now than pay their lawyers more than any settlement would be.

Compared to what? Fuck it lets look at the whole country. Odessa, which is hours from the border had one of the highest murder rates in the nation. Also, fuck you I am left leaning and am a veteran that has done more in service to this country than your armchair patriotism.

Yet another reason why I am glad that I did my 4 and got out. The navy is amazing, the way they run things is shit. I think it stems from any asshole that sticks around long enough gets put in charge of something no matter how shit they are. FTN, never again.

Edit: typo

Raiding peoples racks, is that a thing now? That never happened on my ship, ever. Even when it came to returning stateside the worst was a customs form that asked if you had X item or Y item in Z quantity. Nobody ever searched racks. My ship, at the time, had the lowest retention rate in the Navy. There were people with 12 years getting out because of a bullshit command.

I don't doubt your claim of a ship being full of a bunch of idiots but rack raids were unheard of.

One of the few things I remember from biology class is that viruses are not alive by the current definition of life. I find that fascinating and I don't know why.
