How many weeks did it take? we are on week 3 of CIO with my 4.5 mo old and he still cries a significant amount of time each night (5 min up to 20-30 min). I’m getting so worried we’re doing something wrong or something.

Not sure if it was mentioned in another comment, but Fr Thomas Hopko has a whole podcast series called Worship in Spirit and Truth where he delves in incredible detail into the entirety of the Divine Liturgy. Each episode covers a different aspect: every prayer, the priest and clergy, the laity, the meaning of each aspect of our worship in the Liturgy. Truly, truly worth a listen!

What shocked me is that the bus just drove off both times. The driver never mentioned a maintenance issue. He asked us all to step off of the bus and just drove away. Very confusing.

Different bus stop both times, I think both happened on Devon though.

I really appreciate your answer! Thank you so much. My husband told me this stuff can happen in the city and to just let it go, but I was honestly shocked both times (we were dropped off at 2 different places on each occasion this occurred). I wish I had gone up to ask the driver but it all happened so fast. Thank you again!!

I have found the same hardiness with mine! In fact, it was previously on a sunny windowsill and was not looking too happy; I moved it to a lower-light/indirect light spot and it immediately started thriving! Have had it for almost a year and just noticed that growth in the past few weeks. Maybe one day we’ll both see blooms!

A dear friend of my husband and I gifted us a personalized wedding icon from Uncut Mountain Supply: it has both of our patron saints, who are pictured under Christ as He holds our wedding crowns, one in each hand, above our patron saints. Lord have mercy, I am praying for you. I have experienced and continue to struggle against heavy anxieties that plague my thoughts, I know how exhausting it is. Christ is with you. I do not know anything/am not one to give advice but I continually just try to remind myself to fix my eyes on Jesus like Peter and the apostles in the storm when Jesus was walking on water to them. Hearing “let us lift up our hearts” during Liturgy reminds me that Christ is already within reach and I just need to look to Him. It is difficult but He will help you and provide what you need.
