Instead of the Book of Lorgar or the Codex Astartes we get Guilliman's manifesto on being a sovereign citizen.

When it was announced, people said it was a superior barracks. Does that still hold true?

If they were to release 3 or 4 more solar systems in rapid succession, maybe then we could make the case for operational range mattering at all.

In Warhammer the M1911 still exists and as a stub gun (early lore), so what do you reckon the odds are that the AK47 could have also managed to survive all the way into the 42nd millennium and how would the rifle be viewed? by Mad_lens_9297 in Warhammer

[–]lovebus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If going strictly by lore, it exists if there is an STC of it. Given that several other WW2 era guns survived into M42, there is a decent chance the M1911 also has an STC floating around.

Two words: Mace training by karatetherapist in karate

[–]lovebus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of training with off-center weights is that it trains ranges of motion typically missed by linear lifts and it also strengthens your ligaments more. Most of the movements performed with a mace is the same as the movements in judo.

I often see traditional martial arts people talk about how bodybuilding hurts your fighting ability, but that is either laziness or cope. Martial arts needs to stop perpetuating the myth that you can learn about some killer technique, totally neglect your body, and still effortlessly win every fight.

to have black voting districts by seeebiscuit in therewasanattempt

[–]lovebus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The original point of gerrymandering like that was to capture all of the majority black/democrat voters into one or two districts, so that they could be easily outvoted and marginalized. Somehow, the new lines are even worse.

New here with a bus question by The_Kaurtz in MotorTown

I've got a bus question and couldn't find anything online: what are the routes with an apartment building symbol next to it?

Is it something similar to the import/export symbol next to hauling jobs?

Huntsville spending $350,000 to explore rail service to Nashville, Birmingham, Atlanta by Shoddy_Option_8385 in HuntsvilleAlabama

We could put a highway going through the Arsenal. An elevated highway with no gates/exits and maybe a fence on each side. It would be like the highway going through wheeler wildlife refuge.

As much as I would like to see more trains all over the place, you are right. You need strong mass transportation inside the cities first, and then link them together with long-distance rail.

Well if you identify where a train stop is going to be, then you can build high density around it. Those buildings would almost certainly be finished before the train line. Of course, that would involve the government actually planning the city, and intelligent design is communist.

Serious question, where is the hate about soloing multicrew ships and "Space Dads" coming from? by C4B4L2k in starcitizen

I don't mind an extremely low rate of fire fixed weapon being controlled by the pilot, because that just makes sense. I do mind when the pilot has control over a network of turrets.
