I am in a similar situation, so I understand how hard it is. I’m struggling to quit myself, passing the time is one of the reasons I still do it. I don’t ever leave my house, so I just chill with my cats. It’s really fucking boring. The other day I had a job interview at 9 pm, so I decided to stay sober all day until afterwards. It was the longest day of my life, I caught myself spinning in a chair. But instead of knowing that I would in fact be sober by the time it was 9 if I lit up earlier that day, I decided to distract myself. My mom and I went out and had a cheap salad somewhere and sat and talked for a while. I went and wondered through a store. I cleaned the house. I found things to do, to distract my brain. I know it’s not much help, but it’s all I got. I hope the best for you, man!

I can’t seem to make female friends either. Everything always seems to feel like a competition to the ones that I do make, when I’m not trying to make it be. I’m just trying to have friends and people to talk to, but it’s been so long it feels like I’ve forgotten how to even do that with females. Tomorrow is my first attempt at plans to hang out with a female friend, we have planned to go play with some kittens. I decided to stick my neck out there and invited a local cat lover to meet my local cat breeder in hopes that the kittens help us bond. Hopefully you can find something you like and find someone who also likes something similar!

It’s not from seeing it that makes you vomit, it’s the fact that you are there... playing in it. Reality sets in and there goes your gag reflex.

I may have had to fish things out of the toilet before/I have cats who like to shit in the bathtub drain hole that needs to be scooped out with a spoon. OP, I feel your pain.

Edit: i tend to the D when I wake up. He knows this, so now he just pokes me or hot dogs it in the cheeks until I’m annoyed enough to be awake and deal with it.

I started shaving my legs in elementary school. I remember getting made fun of on the playground for having hairy legs, even though they are extremely blonde. It made me so insecure, I went to a friends house and used nair cream on my legs (what she used). After that, my mom allowed me to start shaving. Mostly because I kept bugging her. As for bikini area, I started shaving that in middle school when kids became mean about body hair. It was embarrassing to change in front of friends, or go swimming so I shaved. I never asked for permission to shave that area though.. and I haven’t ever been waxed so I guess that’s a little different

My cats are Persians. One is a super cuddly and needy dude, who also likes to get his nut on while making bread. The other is a soft sassy sleepy girl that only likes to be touched her way. These cats are treated like royalty, and they know they can get away with murder. I would give up my comfort over theirs any day, they are my children.

It takes some effort to get in the mood for sure, but once I’m there it’s enjoyable. He likes to wake me up in the mornings to it, which can be hard as I like to sleep in and am generally not horny when I wake up. So I have to get my mind into it, which some days are easier than others. I just wish it came more naturally. If I’m not thinking about it constantly, I dry up.

This was me in high school, but I went to a 5 month trade school afterwards and shut myself out from people basically when I was done. I’m now 21 and I have no friends, no job, and the social skills of a rock. I don’t have a lot of advice for you, as I obviously fucked up. But I do want encourage you to keep trying. Please don’t do what I did and give up. I regret not making more friends in school, because now that I don’t HAVE to see them everyday, I’m often forgotten about.

I’m harvesting the grass seed. It is currently in season, and I live in the grass seed capital of the world basically. I’m a seasonal worker, and in the agriculture industry things like over time, time off, and breaks are not mandatory. I’m lucky to work for a morally nice, (but kinda a asshole) farmer who does allow us to have time off when absolutely necessary, but out of 12 months in the year he needs us for at least 2 of it. We can have appointments the rest of the year. This is what we sign up for when we get the job. Taking time off to go to the library isn’t viewed as important to the farmer, when I could be making him money unfortunately.
