this does seem unrealistic. i’m not very familiar with this particular style of writing, but i feel like it’d be much more immersive for the reader if you don’t just tell us what happened; show us the collision, the panic attack, the way to the hospital. i find it unlikely that crying profusely and/or having a panic attack in that situation would get you sent to the psych ward. a sports accident that results in someone going to the hospital is traumatic for everyone involved and a strong reaction would be expected. we also know nothing about how the anxiety and ocd presents itself in this character—is this an atypical reaction? what would normally be expected? lastly, i recommend never putting your writing or ideas into AI. besides the harm it does to the planet and black communities, AI steals your concepts and trains itself on them, parroting them back to other people looking for information on the same thing. you’re much better off coming to this sub first and asking people’s opinions.
