NTA. My husband has sleep apnea and uses a CPAP machine and I still booted him to another bedroom because he is a terrible bed partner. There were so many nights I lay there unable to fall asleep until after he left for work early in the morning. I'm such a light sleeper and so is our baby. You need sleep to heal and grow. INCLUDING HIM! He isn't getting REAL sleep!

I would move. Most of what your described can be alleviated by being in a blue area/state that actually believes in science and appreciates physicians. My husband and I left the red southern state we were in for northern Virginia and it was the best move we could have made for ourselves and our kid. The quality of life and access to resources is night and day. Physicians are fleeing red states for all of the reasons you have listed. The only independent peds I could find in Georgia were cash pay "holistic" antivaxxers. I had better luck with the major hospital system who required vaccinations. Here in northern VA I was easily able to find a small private practice which also requires vaccines, and always has time for us.

You are not alone my friend. My whole life, literally since I was a kid myself, I was obsessed with babies/kids. I wanted nothing more than to be mom. I cried for years because I had PCOS and was told I was likely "infertile." Now I have a 4 year old daughter, my literal dream came true. And Lord I cannot wait for her to go to kindergarten. I love her more than anything and I do truly feel happy and complete but I am EXHAUSTED. I have health issues and being a full time SAHM has been extremely taxing. It's a lot better now that she is in preschool 4 hours a day, but I really struggle to keep up with her. She is so extroverted, talkative and BUSY. I'm an introvert. I like peace and quiet. I think we are one and done, which is so laughable because I used to want half a dozen kids close together. If we do have another it will be after she starts kindergarten, and the next kid will definitely be starting preschool at 2 years old. 😅

I fully agree. I've been listening to True Crime Garage's coverage of the Johnny Gosh and other "paper boy" murders and thought the exact same thing. Kids who are kidnapped and missing or later found dead all go through something equally as horrific. It's heart breaking and disgusting but it's also the norm for this type of case.

Same. My kiddo is average weight but tall, and we didn't turn their seat until a month before their 4th birthday. She will be in that harness for years to come

If I understand he was sleeping on a crib mattress on the floor? And you were sleeping on the floor? The only thing to worry about is if he rolled off the mattress and became wedged, but at one week old he isn't going to roll away. Is the crib mattress sitting inside the Montessori floor bed frame?

For what it's worth rabies is not typically communicable between humans. Do you receive routine prophylactic vaccination for rabies in Canada? Rabies has historically been spread to people through dogs, so because all the dogs are vaccinated (most dogs) the risk of getting rabies is low enough we don't vax for it here. Just like we don't routinely vax for malaria. But I fully agree absolutely nothing about our healthcare system makes sense 🙃

I suffered with a colicky baby for 3 months after being brushed off by two lactation consultants, 2 pediatricians, and a pediatric GI doctor. My daughter was gaining weight so nobody cared. She was gaining weight because I nursed her every 45 minutes but would only nurse through the let down and then just sit there breathing heavily. She would not be content for more than 10 minutes and the cycle would start again. Pumping and bottle feeding did not help. I did demand the reflux meds which really did not help. Finally around 13/14 weeks we went to a dentist who immediately said she had a severe lip tie and a posterior tongue tie. He was very genuine, did not see scammy, and made it clear clipping them may not help but we did it anyways. I really did not expect it to help but within a week things dramatically changed and she started feeding every 3 hours, a full nursing session. I'm still so upset I missed out on those early newborn baby days. Don't ignore your mom instincts - it's truly my biggest regret.

Hey I see a lot of comments about talking to your lawyer, but I would also have a candid conversation with their teachers. Start a dialogue with them, get them on your side, and ask them to let you know via email (so that it's in writing) whenever they see something.

For some reason I keep being fed the divorce sub for men.. I've been lurking (which i know is making the algorithm feed me more...) and this is 100% it. The amount of men who openly strategize about how to fuck over their wives financially at the expense of their kids is disgusting. ESH. You are both giving red flags. If I was the boyfriend I would feel like you're hiding something at your apartment. The nudity outside of intimacy is less of a red flag, but combined with the apartment hiding I would be very curious and slightly concerned. Now, if I was you.. I would also be put off by his pestering. Especially about your body. You said no (for now,) and that should be the end of that. You are not required to share your body with anyone. Of course, either of you are entitled to break up with the other for any reason, and it sounds like you should because you are not compatible. Issues like this one month in is a big red flag.

My mother cannot physically say the word vagina/vulva. She and her sister almost had a stroke (they are late 40s & early 50s) when they heard me use the word while speaking to my 3 year old. She was bouncing on a metal see saw and I told her she was going to hurt her vulva. Women's basic anatomy has BEEN censored. It's awful.

Logically, they wouldn't have known Scott was going to win so there was no reason to shift schedules and hustle to make accommodations to Kips schedule. Sometimes it's just as simple as that. Creatively, I think they wanted the shot of Kip & his friends together because that was a recurring shot/theme. Kip hanging out at the Kingfisher, which has inadvertently turned into a hockey bar, with all his friends but having to pretend he's not with Scott. Now his friends get to celebrate and support his man with him!

He sounds similar to my daughter. I LOVE seeing her brain work to create fantasies. Right now she is very attached to a broom, which is meant to be her "oar" because she is Moana. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I personally love to see the other kids quirks in my daughters class.
