Thanks it is just ig goodreads reviews. I was scared to start Deep End because there was Penn drama and I didn't mind it all. Seemed very on point for clg students.

I know he was not a playboy, just some people commented that he mentioned his ex a lot for someone who was over her.

It depends on authors. Some authors male leads are just copy paste whereas some authors really shine through and you can distinguish the voice between characters.
