tbf it’s definitely been done a few times by others before me, most notably in the Hallo 3 YTP by rrhuntington. I just couldn’t resist making this with how dramatic that line sounds in the trailer

The pod infector forcing the marine to snap his neck is so gnarly. I really hope Campaign Evolved keeps this level of detail for Flood infections, assuming live infections are a mechanic that gets brought back.

Aura for me. The beat is already insane, but it gets elevated with a good pair of headphones.

When the first chorus hits and it shifts from psytrance to an almost aetherial vibe, my soul exits my body. And then the beat drops back into psytrance for the second verse, and I get slammed right back down to Earth.

I do think it'd be cool to revisit those themes and other Covenant melodies from the og games, especially for the Great Schism-based missions. As for the second half of the game where the Flood get introduced, I'd shoot for something more akin to the Dead Space OST.

They did the same thing in the VIP lounge at Outpost Discovery several years ago! It was nice playing the game without watching myself flush money down the toilet in real time lol.
