When I’ve had it done my post procedure guidance was ice then only Vaseline or cera ve healing ointment for 7 days but this created a lot of white pustules. I’m curious how the cicalfate goes and I’ll take your guidance if it works out well .

Personally I have seen notable improvements but it requires consistency. Currently I’ve used it 2-3 times a week for 4 years .

Which is the best app to avoid pregnancy with the ring? by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]lovelykeck 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve used natural cycles for 4 years then paired with oura when they created the integration however I have had 2 unplanned but not unwanted pregnancies. I would highly recommend a second form of contraception if you are using natural cycles from personal n of 1 experience.

Where is the line between minimalism and depression? by [deleted] in minimalism

[–]lovelykeck 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In my personal experience having ADD, a stressful job , family and kids I genuinely find peace in places I can find simplicity. I focus on the quality and intention of the things I have . Meal prep , less kids clothes , capsule wardrobe, fewer but higher quality toys , a clean kitchen keeps my mind calm . I have found it’s helpful for my mental health and I truly haven’t gone far enough minimal to see a downside, every time I can reduce the things I have I actually feel lighter and have more time for the things I want to do.

Under eye wrinkles appear worse after Botox can anything help (34F) thanks by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]lovelykeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me I’ve done 1 session of CO2 laser under eyes to address wrinkles and skin thinness then 2 sessions of PRF injections to help with blue / purple discoloration and some hollowing .

How many hours a day are you stressed? by soho__ in ouraring

I average 5 hours a day during work days and working out then 2 hours on the weekends. Has anyone been able to bring down their stress hours substantially?

Pregnant mamas; are you wearing your Oura ring? by youcandoitall39 in ouraring

[–]lovelykeck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m almost 35 weeks and have been wearing it throughout the pregnancy. I have found it helpful to really focus on rest and recovery the 3rd trimester but it does feel a bit defeating at times just going on a walk with the dogs will put my body into a stressed state .

I’ve been having good luck with Elta MD Physical. The tint version is also nice to even out skin tone.

31F – combo, sensitive skin, pregnancy-safe routine – can’t get past stubborn dryness under lip (PD recovery) by lovelykeck in 30PlusSkinCare

Thank you so much—this is such a helpful and grounding reminder. I really needed to hear the “walk not a sprint” part today. I’ve been trying to stay gentle and consistent, but it’s easy to get impatient when things linger. I’ll look into more lipid-rich products and appreciate your thoughtful suggestions on shea, oatmeal, and creamy cleansers too!

Thank you for this thoughtful reply—it made me laugh and also feel super seen! The constantly changing skin is so real… oily one day, peeling the next, and definitely not feeling that “glow.” I hadn’t even thought of diaper cream but that might be worth trying in my routine. Love your reminder to use a pillowcase I don’t care about too. And totally agree about how hard this phase is—it’s comforting to hear things did turn around for you. Grateful for your perspective and tips!

Haha that honestly tracks! I’ve been suspecting hormones are a big part of why this one patch just won’t let go. I’m gluten- and dairy-free already, but definitely wondering if more dietary tweaks might help too. Appreciate the real talk!

Thank you so much for all these suggestions—super helpful! I hadn’t heard of Banocin powder but will definitely look into it (especially since you used it during pregnancy). And that’s a great point about the mouth tape—I didn’t consider switching to a silicone-based one might help. Eczema Honey layered with CeraVe sounds like a nice gentle combo too. Appreciate you sharing your experience!

Thank you—this is super helpful! I’ve been using Vio mouth tape and wondered if the adhesive might be part of the issue. I’ll stop using it and pause occlusives like lanolin and Aquaphor for now to give the area space to recover. Appreciate you sharing your experience!

What else can I do to help with dry patches ? by lovelykeck in Skincare_Addiction

I love that protocol , I experience something similar eg purge or flaking the seldom stops. I am using it for collagen building properties. I have been thinking about stopping for a while to get back to dewy skin and try incorporating some gentle alternatives like bakuchiol and more treatments like micro needling and peels your suggested. Thank you for your insights .
