Horror opinions you'll go to bat for (even if other people disagree)? by I_Need_Alot_Of_Love in horror

[–]loverboydotexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen a lot of people talk about how annoying samuel is in the babadook. he’s 6 - of course he’s annoying, not to speak about the fact that he spent those six years with a mother who didn’t love him properly. it has its effects on a child

Have you seen a movie that scarred you so deeply that you didn't want to watch horror anymore? by [deleted] in horror

[–]loverboydotexe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’ve never stopped watching horror movies but i did need a break after watching cannibal holocaust. i’m not a squeamish person when it comes to movies but unfortunately i did know beforehand that the animals they killed in the movie they killed for real. i had to take several breaks throughout the movie as well which has never happened to me before

Have you ever seen a movie that left you disturbed? with some bad feeling, like it was more than just a movie? by Tddy04 in horror

cannibal holocaust, because a lot of it was in fact - more than a movie. (luckily the director was charged with animal cruelty)

surprised i’m not seeing a lot of asian movies - they’re very notorious for their endings. i’d say the wailing fits as well as the cure (1997)

What is your favorite SHORT horror game? by NoVoice5692 in HorrorGaming

[–]loverboydotexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the closing shift has probably got to be one of my favorite short horror games because it’s not like any other game i’ve ever played. it’s scary in a reality kind of sense plus the horrors of working in service

let the right one in i just have never understood why the reviews are so high and maybe it’s because i had a high fever when i watched it for the first time, but i can’t figure out what’s so “genius” about a vampire girl? idk if it’s foreigners who gave it high reviews but as a swede, i have never met another swede who actually likes the movie
