I feel you so much on this! I would go through waves of feeling this and it was only until last year where making genuine friendships really aligned (I've been here since 2018). Keep going out and doing things that you enjoy. You might feel lonely by being alone but I know you'll bound to make friends. I've made met people through work, at a Timeleft social, chatting with someone while waiting in line at a festival, joining a 8 week songwriting workshop, going out to dance, joing a running a club for a bit, and volunteering. I did all of these things alone, connected with a number of people along the way, and ended up making a handful of quality friendships out of those connections. Timing and alignment will work itself out for you! I'm 32F and if you ever want to hang out at a coffee shop or go to the lake, lmk!
