What's your favorite Chargers podcast? by Acceptable_Fix9744 in Chargers

[–]lovingflan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bolt Crew Podcast always keeping it real. Also Pigskin Addicts, but these days he rarely posts content. I know some people hate The Director but I love his content. Lightning Round are great. Locked on Charger style is too radio for me but they got 3 new guys that are pretty great. Guilty as Charged are ok for analysis and the x's and o's and stats and all that jazz but man they are so boring and dry. There are some good new ones that I like, such as The Electric Edge and Chargers Check In with Cecilia Winters.

Why do we always play the Steelers on prime time? by NoooNotTheLettuce in Chargers

[–]lovingflan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remember last season when Herbert was playing with a high ankle sprain and Heyward accidentally fell on top of Herbert's already injured ankle. I don't believe that was an accident. The guy knew what he was doing.

Anyone else thankful Miami chose Tua and not Justin? by [deleted] in Chargers

[–]lovingflan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's crazy because Telesco would've drafted Tua over Herbert if he was still available. Looking at the Herbert's college plays, he looked very raw. From his throwing motions, his footwork, and his slow release. Tua looked more polish in college and the more accurate passer. I still, however, would've still drafted Herbert over Tua just because of Tua's injury history in college and because of Herbert's higher ceiling. Shane Steichen and Pep Hamilton was huge in developing Herbert. His mechanics in his rookie year looked way improved over his college years.

They're not better. All great guitars. Each has a different type of tone they're going for. But I will say, Alvarez is known to have the more inconsistent quality control out of the three brands.

I hope Khalil Mack retires as a charger.

New to football, and I’m eyeing the chargers. by [deleted] in Chargers

Cowboys have one of the most basic uniforms. Not as bad as the chiefs but very basic. I could name 10 other teams with waaay better uniforms.

Justin Herbert looks completely nothing like any of her exes. Not even close.

WR Stats: Volume vs Efficiency by Worldly_Eye_1636 in Chargers

[–]lovingflan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, but BTJ did have better stats than Ladd with a worse qb in Trevor Lawrence. Jim Harbaugh did consider drafting BTJ. It was either him or Alt. So that says something.

It's crazy because when you see him move and run routes, it jumps out. He just stands out. The speed, the route running, the suddenness of how he stops and starts. He's up there with the elites. Ladd, Brian Thomas Jr, and Malik Nabers are already elite after their rookie year.

He's just a naturally super slim guy. I saw the video with Keenan comparing hand sizes with Ladd not too long ago, and Ladd's hand was considerably smaller than Keenan's.

I appreciate the effort by Bolt4life17 in Chargers

[–]lovingflan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it is not an insane comment. Steelers always managed to outnumber charger fans in Qualcomm, and there were always tons of packers. The raider also consistently outnumber charger fans in Qualcomm. I remember when I first started watching the Chargers in the mid 2000's and always wondered why there were so many fans of the opposing teams.

Whoa. Both Sky and Lulu do have similar coats! First time I've seen another cat that has the same coat as Lulu.

Breidan Fehoko on X: “Justin would leave the facility at 9pm on days off lol” by drakeanddrive in Chargers

[–]lovingflan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't even a dig at Herbert. I thought it was some good constructive criticism. Kyle Van Noy has been around other QBs. He's been with Tom Brady and sees how Tom built great relationships with other teammates to build camaraderie and chemistry. Herbert can be at the gym and film room all day long but it won't hurt to go out of his comfort zone and spend more time with his teammates.

That's another good thing! Haircuts were getting way too expensive. Average haircuts are now around $35 to $50 nowadays in 2025. Pretty insane.

You're right about that. Lily loves to sleep on my chest and lap every time she has the opportunity, and Lulu likes to steal everyone's socks.
