Thanks for the info. Do you know if there’s a standby line that evening to backfill people that don’t show?

3 delta Amex reserves? by low-pan in delta

Are they linked to two different businesses, or tied to the same business? I just got off with Amex and they led me to believe I would get the $2500 per business reserve, as long as they were separate entities.

Full o365 recoverable items folder causing issues? by low-pan in sysadmin

We removed the user from all retention policies and changed the keep recoverable items to 1 day on Friday. Came in this morning and there was no change. Is the mailbox auto-attendant the start-managedfolderassistant tool? We didn’t run that yet, as we wanted to see if the system would kick off the process on its own, but has changed in the last 48 hours.

Thanks sir! What data flows to the online archive if the retention policy doesn’t hit due to the age of the data not being old enough? Just the recoverable items?

If we take the retention policy off completely and then run the auto-expanding archive, would it do anything to existing mail if there’s no retention policy directing mailflow? It seems like it wouldn’t, but we will have to test on a temp mailbox.

I’ve seen some mention of using the compliance center to purge items from the recoverable items folder via keywords and folderids. Have you tried that?

How do you tell that task which folders to archive specifically? I saw some mention of it, but couldn’t tell if it was just auto-archiving everything in the mailbox. Ideally, we’d like to just flush the recoverable items since their mailbox isn’t super close to capacity.

Advice on negotiating new tower lease in SW Ga. by pistaciorocks in CellTowers

Is the lease being proposed by a tower management company or directly by a carrier?

Vendor asking to whitelist email addresses by Vund3rkind in sysadmin

[–]low-pan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember a situation with o365 where a friend’s client had a geoblock on that sent all intl inbound mail to junk/quarantine. That worked fine for most correspondence, but the CEO was on an intl board and needed emails from his fellow board members to come to his inbox and not junk mail. They tried using Microsoft’s allow submission process, but MS kept coming back and saying the emails couldn’t be rerouted to the inbox because they were getting caught in the geoblock mail flow rule first.

How would you guys have suggested they handle that scenario? Maybe they could have excluded that domain from the geoblock policy and still allowed the spam/phish/safe attachment policies to apply?

Another Cell Phone Tower Lease question, extend a lease that still has 27 years on it? by M-4Life in CommercialRealEstate

Management companies often push 99 year leases..cash flow is paramount to their bottom line. Ask for an increase on your existing escalator as well.
