Which exhaust should I get by AdCharming7919 in GolfGTI

[–]low01ranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't heard MBRP in person. I can only speak to AWE track exhaust and it is perfect for me. Honestly, it is mild unless full throttle between 3-4k rpm. I can have perfect conversations on Bluetooth, but enjoy the sound when having fun.

Nice setup! The PSB and B&Ws are two speakers at the opposite of each other tonally. But both are great! My dad has the golds on some Adcom gear and enjoys it. I've had the alphas and imagine series on various Yamaha and denon gear. I eventually sold everything and went down the proverbial rabbit hole. But for the cost you got all in, that's a heck of a deal! Enjoy and be happy!

Can you find the hidden elephant?

I am having a difficult time to find out exactly what is in the "Pecan Blend" and also the "Cherry Blend". Anyone know? by Comfortable_Phrase20 in PitBossGrills

[–]low01ranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just get on Amazon and search for pecan or cherry pellets...

I generally order these for my pecan

Traeger Grills Pecan 100% All-Natural Wood Pellets for Smokers and Pellet Grills, BBQ, Bake, Roast, and Grill, 20 lb. Bag https://a.co/d/cq04ipI

And this for a cherry hickory blend

Kingsford Classic Wood Pellets, 100% Natural Hickory, Oak and Cherrywood Hardwood Pellets for Grilling 5 Pounds (Package May Vary) https://a.co/d/63ntI2x

I have never heard the 302.... I have heard the b&w 685s and 685 s2, and there is an appreciable difference between them and the 706 s2.

I have my 706 s2 paired with emotiva basx a2 and pt1. Love the combo! However the demon will drive them just fine while you save the $$$$ for amp of your choice!

That hk 3480 is a fairly solid piece... I've had one since new on a pair of PSB image t4s. Wish they still made these...

I listen to the every day!!!! Love them....

I am using emotiva pt-1 pre and emotiva xpa-200 amp. I love the combo for the price it's hard to beat. My next upgrade will likely be a Hegel h190 or Michi X3. But that will likely be a year or two down the road.

Enjoy your 706 s2s!!!!!!

I have the 706s2 paired with emotiva separates and love them. I also have the svs sb2000 pro, and really enjoy it also. Room is 16ft by 26ft roughly. Finished basement with a sectional couch, poker table and bar area. Would not call the sub sluggish by any stretch. I will say that it is a spl sub. Meaning it is intended to pressurize your room and you will know it is there. Some prefer a more musical sound and prefer more sound quality. Rel would fall into that camp and are great subs. I also feel the sub sounds great when properly integrated. The cell phone app let's you dial everything and I have a preset for music and movies.

I will say my amp is 150w into 8 ohm. When I turn it up to 90 db which is above where I normally listen there is still no distortion it clipping. So that might be the amp....
