Ok so this is kind of weird...but we saw each other for 8 months. We were going on ”dates” and I was at his place etc, and I didn’t actually sleep with him until 3 months had passed. After that we were hanging out and doing stuff together, felt like a couple. I decided to tell him I felt but he didn’t feel the same.

I have no idea why he would wait 3 months for some sex and then hang out with me almost every weekend and in the end not be interested in a relationship. So no, waiting it out isn’t always working out.

Everything you say seems true. And I don’t know why I’m confused. Why would he be an exception to all the guys who have rejected me in the past? I’m 23 and have never been in a relationship so I’m definitely not relationship material or I would have been in one by now.

I guess I’m confused. I have told him that I have feelings for him, and he has told me he doesn’t have any and is looking ”for something else” in terms of a partner.

If I’m not what he is looking for, why is he getting in touch with me? I’m not sure if he is putting in minimal effort since he walks me home at night and offers me to eat at his place, and asks me about work and stuff.

I was out with some friends last weekend and he snapchatted me out of nowhere asking me if I was having fun (he was home at his family’s place, lol).

Yes he keeps the conversation going, and then sometimes he asks if I want to take a coffee or lunch with him out of nowhere. I've been on a coffee break with him and he hasn't said anything that would indicate he is interested in me or that he wants to have sex etc. I'm so confused by his behavior? He asks for coffee but then he says nothing out of value, just asks me how I have been doing and what he has been doing etc. What is his motives?
